Kritik Ekonomi Politik Radikal terhadap Penerapan Teori Nilai-Utilitas: Suatu Kajian Ekonomi Politik Marxisme

Skripsi yang berjudul Kritik Ekonomi Politik Radikal terhadap Penerapan Teori Nilai-Utilitas: Suatu Kajian Ekonomi Politik Marx ini mencoba menjelaskan pertukaran antarkomoditas dalam sistem perekonomian yang dianggap tak perlu lagi diperdebatkan. Setiap pelaku ekonomi mengetahui dan menerima sistem pertukaran antarkomoditas yang ditentukan oleh aspek psikologistik dari pelaku ekonomi. Proses pertukaran ini padahal menjadi hal yang paling berpengaruh dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Tren ilmu ekonomi kini menjadi ilmu yang terus mengusahakan dan memprediksi pertumbuhan ekonomi, namun jarang yang mempertanyakan kelemahan dari teori nilai yang dipakai dalam pertukaran saat ini. Sejarah pemikiran ilmu ekonomi telah memperlihatkan bahwa hingga saat ini teori nilai-utilitas adalah teori yang dianggap paling mampu menjelaskan realitas pertukaran. Penelitian ini menempatkan teori nilai-utilitas sebagai objek penelitian, yaitu mencoba mempertanyakan kembali konsekuensi yang mungkin ditimbulkan oleh penerapan teori nilai-utilitas yang subjektif dan psikologistik. Alat analisis terhadap konsekuensi penerapan teori nilai-utilitas ini menggunakan Pemikiran dari para Marxis yang menerima argumen Marx dengan ketat, seperti Ernest Mandel, Paul M. Sweezy, Maurice Dobb, dan Paul Baran. Para pemikir Marxis ini bertumpu pada analisis ekonomi politik untuk mengkritisi masyarakat kapitalisme. Penelitian ini oleh karena itu memusatkan analisis pada konsekuensi yang mungkin ditimbulkan oleh penerapan teori nilai-utilitas dalam konteks ekonomi politik. Konteks ekonomi politik ini berkisar pada persoalan distribusi kesejaheraan dan konsekuensi yang diterima kelas pekerja apabila teori nilai-utilitas diterapkan dalam pasar tenaga kerja. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodologi penelitian filsafat beruapa metode hermeneutis dan analisis-kritis. Hasil analisis terhadap penerapan teori nilai-utilitas menggunakan kerangka pikir ekonomi politik Marxis ini memperlihatkan bahwa: 1) Teori nilai-utilitas dengan perangkat metodisnya yang disebut individualisme metodologis telah menderivasi sistem ekonomi liberal. 2) Perkara distribusi kekayaan yang timpang tak banyak diakomodasi oleh para pemikir teori nilai-utilias, dalam hal ini ekonomi Neo-Klasik. Hal demikian karena teori nilai-utilitas hingga bentuknya yang paling mutakhir, yaitu teori pilihan sosial, mencoba melepaskan diri dari konteks sosial-politik dan moralitas. 3) Kelas pekerja menerima efek dari asumsi teori nilai-utilitas yang berdasarkan pada kelangkaan dan kelimpahan, kelimpahan cadangan tenaga kerja dan produktivitas tinggi cenderung menurunkan upah riil pekerja.

This Radical Political Economics Criticism to Value Theory of Utility Application: A Marxism Political Economy Study tries to explain exchange process between commodities in the economic system that no longer need to be debated. Everyone knows and accepts that exchange process between commodities are determined by psychologistic aspects of economy actors. This exchange process is the most influential aspect in the process of economic growth of a country. In the other hand economics has become a science that always trying to predict economic growth, but rarely questioned the weakness of the theory of value that used in the exchange process. History of economics has shown that up to this time utility theory of value is theory that considered as the best one to explain the reality of exchange process. This research puts utility theory of values as its object, it�s trying to question the consequences of the application of the utility theory of value which full of subjective and psychologistic aspect. The tool to analyze this reaserch�s subject is Marxist thoughts that accepted Marx�s arguments stictly, such as Ernest Mandel, Paul M. Sweezy, Maurice Dobb and Paul Baran. This Marxist thinkers have relied their thoughts on analysis of political economy to criticize capitalist society. This research therefore concentrated to analyse the application of utility theory of value consequnces in political economy context. The context revolves around the wealth distribution issue and the consequences that accepted by working class if utility theory of value is applied in the labor market. Philosophical methodology is applied on this reaserch, therefore researcher tried to use hermeutics and critical methods. This reaserch results show that: 1) Utility theory of value with its method that so called methodological individualism has derived the liberal economic system. 2) Unequal distribution of wealth issue is not much accommodated by utility theory of value thinkers, in this case is the Neo-Classical economist. Even in its very latest form, social choice theory, utility theory of value is trying to escape from social-political and morality context. 3) The working class receives the effect of utility theory of value assumption that based on scarcity and abundance, abundance of reserves labor and high productivity tends to decrease workers real wages.
