PERTUMBUHAN DAN SISTEM PENCERNAAN IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) DENGAN PENAMBAHAN ENZIM KASAR DARI PEPAYA DAN PROBIOTIK

Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang paling banyak dibudidayakan di dunia. Selama ini perkembangan pakan ikan komersial terus ditingkatkan untuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan ikan nila yang baik, salah satunya adalah dengan penambahan enzim kasar papaya atau dengan cairan probiotik. Enzim kasar papaya pada pakan ikan berfungsi meningkatkan sistem imun , dan membantu degredasi nutrien pakan yang dikonsumsi oleh ikan. Probiotik berfungsi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan koloni mikrobia menguntungkan yang menghasilkan enzim-enzim pencernaan pada saluran pencernaan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pertumbuhan dan aktivitas enzim pencernaan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) dengan pengkayaan enzim dan probiotik komersial. Sebanyak 15 ekor ikan nila dibagi kedalam 5 kelompok (K: Kontrol, E: dosis enzim 250 mL/kg pakan, P: Probiotik 1 mL, EP1: Enzim 100 mL/kg pakan + 1 mL probiotik, EP2: Enzim 250 mL/kg pakan + 1 mL Probiotik). Parameter pertumbuhan yang diamati meliputi berat badan, biomassa otot, Relative gut length, Gastro-somatic Index, dan aktivitas enzim pencernaan (Amilase, Protease, dan Lipase). Pengamatan biomassa otot ikan, Relative gut length, Gastro-somatic Index, dan akivitas enzim pencernaan (Amilase, Protease, Lipase) dilakukan setelah masa pemeliharaan 28 hari. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik One-way ANOVA dilanjutkan DMRT dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian enzim dosis 250 mL/kg pakan + 1 mL probiotik meningkatkan pertumbuhan berat badan, biomassa otot dan Relative gut length secara signifikan dibanding perlakuan lain. Pemberian enzim hidrolitik (E) dan probiotik (P) saja juga meningkatkan aktivitas enzim pencernaan (Amilase, Protease, Lipase) dibanding kontrol walaupun tidak signifikan. Gastro-somatic Index tidak dipengaruhi oleh penambahan enzim kasar papaya kdan probiotik. Kesimpulan Penelitian ini adalah penambahan enzim dosis 250 mL/kg pakan + probiotik 1 mL meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan nila merah yang ditunjukan dengan adanya peningkatan berat badan, biomassa otot, morfolgi saluran pencernaan ikan , dan aktivitas enzim pencernaan.

Red nile (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) is the most cultured freshwater fish in the world. There are continuously improved during the development of commercial fish feed to increase the growth of red nile, including with the addition of a commercial enzyme, or liquid probiotics. Crude papain enzymes in feed fish serve to enhance the immune system, and helps nutrient degradation of feed consumed by fish. While the addition of probiotics can stimulate the growth of beneficial microflora colonies to produce digestive enzymes in the digestive tract of fish. This research was conducted to study the growth and digestive enzyme activity of red nile (Oreochromis niloticus) with enzymes and probiotics enrichment in diet. A total of 15 fish tilapia were divided into 5 groups (K: Control group, E: Enzyme 250 mL/kg of feed. P: 1 mL of Probiotic, EP1: Enzyme 100 mL / kg of feed + 1 mL of probiotic, EP2: Enzyme 250 ml / kg of feed and 1 mL of probiotics). Growth Indicator were observed based on weight gain, biomass, RGL, Ga.S.I, and digestive enzyme activities. Pisciculture was conducted over 28 days in Laboratory of Animal Physiology UGM. Muscle biomass, Relative gut length, Gastro-somatic Index, and digestive enzymes activity (Amilase, Protease, and Lypase) Observations was conducted after pisciculture period of 28 days. Then the data were analyzed statistically One-way ANOVA followed DMRT with 95% confidence level. Crude papain enzymes with 250 mL/kg fish feed of dose and 1 mL Probiotic increased fish growth, muscle biomass, and Relative Gut Lenght significantly. Furthermore the activity of digestive enzyme was increase but not significantly. Yet, Gastro-somatic Index still in normal condition. Based on result crude papain enzymes with 250 mL/kg fish feed of dose and 1 mL Probiotic (EP2) were increased growth rate of fish which is perform by the increased of body mass, muscle biomass, Relative Gut Length and digestive enzyme activity.
