PENGARUH MEANINGFUL WORK, HARAPAN, DAN KEMEMBALAN TERHADAP WORK ENGAGEMENT

Selain itu penelitian lain menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara pemaknaan terhadap kemembalan dan harapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel – variabel tersebut dalam konteks kerja. Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk melihat peran mediator harapan dan kemembalan dalam hubungan antara meaningful work dan work engagement Penelitian terhadap karyawan perusahann perkebunan (N=106) menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung antara meaningful work dengan harapan (β=0,477), kemembalan (β=0,223) dan work engagegement (β=0,478). serta pada harapan terhadap kemembalan (β=0,567) dan work engagement(β=0,387). Selain itu ditemukan bahwa harapan bertindak sebagai mediator hubungan antara meaningful work dengan work engagement (β=0,185) serta kemembalan (β=0,270). Di lain pihak pengaruh antara kemembalan dan work engagement tidak ditemukan
Previous research found that hope and resilience have a positive effect on work engagement. Beside that, another research showed there’s an effect on hope and resilence from meaning. The aim of this research was to knew whether hope and resilience could mediate the relationship between meaningful work and work. This research toward plantation employee (N=106) showed that there was a direct effect from meaninggful work to hope (β=0.477), resilience (β=0.223) and work engagement(β=0.478). There was also a direct effect from hope to resilience (β=0.567) and work engagement(β=0.387). Beside that, this research also found an indirect effect from meaningful work to resilence (β=0.270) and work engagement (β=0.185) through hope. But effect from resilience to work engagement can not be found.
