Evaluasi mutu praktek keperawatan klinik lulusan poltekes jurusan keperawatan di RSUD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara

Poltekes sebagai institusi pendidikan tenaga kesehatan yang menghasilkan tenaga keperawatan professional. Praktek klinik keperawatan memberikan kesempatan kepada mahaswa untuk menerapkan teori-teori selama menjalankan perkuliahan dengan pengawasan pembimbing. Data mahasiswa yang tidak lulus uji kompetensi keperawatan setiap tahunnya kurang lebih 70%. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui proses pencapaian kompetensi klinik keperawatan menurut persepsi lulusan poltekes jurusan keperawatan selama proses pendidikan, untuk mengetahui mutu proses pencapaian kompetensi klinik keperawatan menurut persepsi lulusan poltekes jurusan keperawatan selama bekerja di rumah sakit, untuk mendapatkan hal yang mendukung pelaksanaan kompetensi klinik keperawatan, untuk mendapatkan kendala dalam pelaksanaan kompetensi klinik keperawatan. Metode: Deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian lulusan Poltekes Jurusan Keperawatan berlatar belakang pendidikan SMA sederajat yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Hasil: Peran institusi pendidikan terhadap mutu pencapaian kompetensi klinik keperawatan menurut persepsi lulusan pada tahap persiapan 95% responden menilai baik, pada tahap pelaksanaan 72,5% responden menilai baik, pada tahap evaluasi 55% menilai baik, peran rumah sakit terhadap pencaian mutu kompetensi klinik keperawatan menurut persepsi lulusan pada peran diklat 75% responden menilai baik, persepsi responden terhadap peran pembimbing RS 55% menilai baik. Kesimpulan: Mutu kompetensi klinik keperawatan menurut persepsi lulusan Poltekes Jurusan Keperawatan Kendari secara keseluruhan sudah baik.
Background: Nursing clinical competence is ability and skills of nurses in carrying out their duties according to cognitive and affective skills. An educational institution is an institution that produces quality human resources. Health polytechnic is an institution for health human resources that produces nursing professional. Nursing clinical practice gives an opportunity for students to practice theories they get during the study under the supervision of tutors. The number of students of Health Polytechnic of Kendari reaches more or less 70% that fail in nursing competence test. Objective: To identify the process of nursing clinical competence achievement based on the perception of graduates of nursing department of Kendari Health Polytechnic during the educational process, while they worked in hospital; to identify factors that supported the implementation of nursing clinical competence and factors that disrupted the implementation of nursing clinical competence. Method: This was a descriptive study that used quantitative and qualitative method. Subject of the study were graduates of nursing department of Kendari Health Polytechnic that had senior high school educational background and worked at RSUD of Sulawesi Tenggara. Result: The role of educational institution in the achievement of nursing clinical competence based on the perception of graduates in the preparation phase was good (95% of respondents), in the implementation phase was good (72,5% of respondents), in the evaluation phase was good (55% of respondents). The role of the hospital in the achievement of nursing clinical competence based on the perception of graduates in aspect of training and education was good (75% of respondents); the role of tutors in the hospital was good (55% of respondents). Conclusion: The quality of nursing clinical competence based on the perception of nursing department graduates of Kendari Health Polytechnic in general belonged to good category.
