Untuk memperoleh suatu Content pada e-learning yang berbeda alamat, pengunjung terkadang dipersulit dengan keharusan untuk berkunjung dari satu situs ke situs lain.Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk melakukan pengembangan terhadap cara menampilkan informasi pada e-learning agar lebih mudah dipahami dan didapat.Tesis ini bertujuan membuat suatu model layanan web service yang dapat mengcrawling berbagai macam Content di beberapa e-learning sehingga para client dapat mengakses Content tersebut melalui layanan web service yang disediakan. Sistem yang dikembangkan akan menghasilkan suatu algoritma yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan Content dari beberapa situs e-learning.Algoritma tersebut akan melakukan 5 aktivitas utama, yaitu membuka website, mengambil keseluruhan Content, memarsing Content html, memasukkannya ke struktur data dan menampilkannya.Proses yang paling mentukan adalah pada saat pemarsingan karena pada proses inilah informasi yang akan ditampilkan ditentukan. Pemanfaatan layanan webservice untuk pengambilan Content e-learning akan memberikan nilai tambah (value added) bagi para akedemisi.Selain itu juga memberikan competitive advantage bagi suatu situs e-learning yang menerapkan sistem ini untuk dapat bersaing dengan situs e-learning lainnya.

When visitors would like to get e-learning Content from different web addresses, they almost usually have to visit one to another sites separately. This research is tend to develop the way e-learning information appear in order to make it easier to be gained and understood. The purpose of this thesis is to make a web-service model which is able to crawl different kind of Contents that are scattered in many e-learning sites, therefore client can easily access the Content through a web-service. The outcome of this developed system is an algorithm purposed to get desired Content from several e-learning sites. The algorithm will do 5 main activities, which are opening the websites, gaining all e-learning related Contents, parsing HTML Contents, inputting the information to structural data and showing them. Since the determining process of information is done in parcing activity, parcing becomes the most significant process. The benefit of this web-service, especially the easier method, compared with the visit-one-to-another method, in order to get e-learning Content from several different sites , will be an added-value for academic people. More over, it gives competitive advantage for an e-learning site which is implementing this system in order to compete with the others e-learning sites.
