HUBUNGAN ANTARA RASIO APOLIPOPROTEIN B/APOLIPOPROTEIN A1 DENGAN MEAN PLATELET VOLUME PADA INFARK MIOKARD AKUT

Latar Belakang: Infark Miokard Akut (IMA) masih menjadi penyebab kematian terbanyak di dunia. Telah diketahui bahwa kadar apolipoprotein B (apoB) dan apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1) terlibat dalam patogenesis IMA. Selain itu, mean platelet volume (MPV) sebagai parameter aktivasi platelet juga terlibat dalam perkembangan penyakit ini. Studi sebelumnya menyebutkan bahwa lipid dan platelet memiliki hubungan, sehingga timbul permasalahan mengenai hubungan rasio apoB/apoA1 sebagai rasio lipid yang paling akurat dengan MPV . Tujuan: Mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara rasio apoB/apoA1 dengan nilai MPV pada IMA. Metode: Enam puluh tiga sampel darah pasien IMA diperoleh setelah melalui proses inklusi dan eksklusi kemudian diukur kadar apoB dan apoA1 untuk mendapatkan rasionya dengan metode imunoturbidimetri, serta nilai MPV dengan penganalisis hematologi otomatis. Hubungan kedua nilai tersebut diuji dengan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil: Uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif dengan koefisien korelasi (r) -0,13. Nilai tersebut tidak signifikan (p=0,32). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara rasio apoB/apoA1 dengan nilai MPV pada pasien IMA.

Background: Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) is still the leading cause of death in the world. It is known that the levels of apolipoprotein B (apoB) and apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1) are involved in the pathogenesis of AMI. In addition, the mean platelet volume (MPV), that emerged as platelet activation parameter, is implicated in the development of this disease. Previous studies have suggested that lipids and platelets have a correlation, which raised a question of the correlation between the apoB/apoA1 ratio as the most accurate lipid ratio with MPV. Objective: To investigate the correlation between the apoB/apoA1 ratio with MPV in AMI. Method: Sixty three blood samples of AMI patients were obtained after the inclusion and exclusion processes, then the levels of apoB and apoA1 were measured to get the ratio using imunoturbidimetric method, and the value of MPV were measured using automated hematology analyzer. The correlation of both values was analyzed using Pearson correlation test. Result: The correlation test showed a negative correlation with the coefficient of correlation (r) of -0,13. This value is not significant (p=0,32). Conclusion: There is no significant correlation between the apoB/apoA1 ratio with MPV in patients with AMI.
