Pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur pada wanita pascamenopause di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Dinas Sosial Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

2015 | Tesis | S2 KeperawatanINTISARI Latar belakang: Kesehatan reproduksi wanita terdiri dari kesehatan reproduksi ibu dan anak, remaja, dan usia lanjut. Kesehatan reproduksi usia lanjut meliputi masa pramenopause, peri-menopause, menopause dan pascamenopause. Wanita menopause mengalami penurunan estrogen yang menyebabkan penurunan kualitas tidur. Kejadian gangguan tidur pada wanita pascamenopause 3 kali lebih tinggi daripada wanita menopause. Masalah tidur menyebabkan kelelahan saat bangun pada pagi hari, gangguan mood, meningkatnya gangguan vasomotor, gangguan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari dan terjadinya depresi Salah satu bentuk penatalaksanaan gangguan tidur adalah senam yoga. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh senam yoga untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada wanita pascamenopause Metode: Penelitian dengan rancangan kuantitatif dan pendekatan quasi experiment dengan pre-post test with control group. Partisipan penelitian adalah wanita pascamenopause yang tinggal di Panti Tresna Werdha Dinas Sosial DIY dengan jumlah 58 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebelum dimulainya pretest. Penentuan sampel sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Kualitas tidur dinilai dengan instrumen PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), gaya hidup dengan kuisioner TestWell: Holistic Lifestyle Questionnaire College Edition dan stres menggunakan Perceived Stress Scale. Analisis data yaitu analisis univariat, analisis bivariat menggunakan uji t, dan analisis multivariat dengan regresi linear. Hasil: Kualitas tidur saat dilakukan pretest berbeda secara signifikan (p=0,00). Kualitas tidur wanita pascamenopause yang diberikan perlakuan senam yoga meningkat (95% CI 2,90-4,33 dan p=0,00). Sedangkan variabel luar gaya hidup tidak mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan kualitas tidur (p=0,89), stres tidak mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan kualitas tidur (p=0,66) dan status pernikahan tidak mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan kualitas tidur (p=0,72) Kesimpulan: Senam yoga meningkatkan kualitas tidur menjadi lebih baik pada wanita pascamenopause
ABSTRACT Background: Reproductive health in women consist of reproductive health of mothers and children, adolescents, and the elderly. Reproductive health in the elderly is the premenopausal period, peri-menopause, menopause and postmenopause. Menopausal women experience a decrease in estrogen causes a decrease in the quality of sleep. The incidence of sleep disorders in postmenopausal women 3 times higher than female menopause. Sleep problems that are not addressed can lead to fatigue when you wake up in the morning, mood disorders, increased vasomotor disturbances, interruption in performing daily activities and the occurrence of depression One form of treatment of sleep disorders is exercise yoga exercises. Objective: To determine the effect of yoga exercises to improve sleep quality in postmenopausal women Methods: The study design with quantitative approach with quasi experimental pre-post test with control group. Study participants are postmenopausal women who live in Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Social Departement DIY with a number of 58 respondents. Sampling was conducted before the start of the pretest. The samples were in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Quality of sleep was assessed by the instruments PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) and outdoor lifestyle factors assessed by questionnaire TestWell: Holistic Lifestyle Questionnaire College Edition and stress using the Perceived Stress Scale. The data analysis is the analysis of univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyzes. Univariate analysis shown the characteristics of respondents. Bivariate analysis using the t test, and multivariate analysis was not performed because it does not qualify. Results: The results showed that the quality of sleep at the time of the pretest differed significantly (p=0.00). On the results of independent sampling t test showed a significant difference giving yoga exercise on sleep quality postmenopausal women (95% CI 2.90 to 4.33 and p=0.00). While the outside lifestyle variables have no meaningful relationship with sleep quality (p=0.89), stress does not have a meaningful relationship with sleep quality (p=0.66) and marital status have a meaningful relationship with sleep quality (p=0.72) Conclusion: Yoga exercises have an influence on improving the quality of sleep for the better in postmenopausal women
