DISTRIBUSI DAN ASOSIASI TUMBUHAN BAWAH Clidemia hirta DI KAWASAN RESORT CIBODAS TAMAN NASIONAL GUNUNG GEDE PANGRANGO

Clidemia hirta merupakan jenis tumbuhan bawah berpotensi obat yang dapat ditemukan di kawasan Resort Cibodas. Hasil screening tumbuhan bawah oleh Arbiastutie (2012) menunjukkan tumbuhan ini memiliki kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder berupa alkaloid, flavonoid, dan steroid. Pengembangan Clidemia hirta sebagai tanaman obat merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mendukung upaya pengelolaan taman nasional. Namun, keterbatasan informasi terkait distribusi dan asosiasinya menjadi hambatan dalam pengelolaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji distribusi dan asosiasi tumbuhan bawah Clidemia hirta yang terdapat di kawasan Resort Cibodas. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis vegetasi berbasis studi habitat. Analisis ini diarahkan untuk mengetahui karakteristik habitat yang mempengaruhi pola distribusi dan asosiasi tumbuhan bawah Clidemia hirta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan distribusi Clidemia hirta terletak pada rentang elevasi antara 1.327-1.610 m dpl dengan tingkat kelerengan lahan antara 10-35 %. Tumbuhan ini mampu beradaptasi dengan curah hujan tinggi antara 2.515,7 -6.3967,9 mm/tahun. Suhu yang mendukung pertumbuhan Clidemia hirta berkisar antara 20,74-25,7 0C dengan kelembaban udara mencapai 72,6-85,6 %. Jenis tumbuhan ini juga mampu bertahan pada intensitas cahaya yang rendah antara 358-1.822 lux. Pola distribusi yang dibentuk oleh Clidemia hirta adalah sebaran beraturan dan dinyatakan dengan nilai indeks morista 0,583. Terdapat hubungan negatif antara tingkat elevasi dengan kelimpahan populasi Clidemia hirta yang dinyatakan melalui persamaan matematis y = - 0,0209x + 35,441 dengan r2= 0,741. Jenis tumbuhan bawah yang membentuk asosiasi vegetasi paling kuat dengan Clidemia hirta di kawasan Resort Cibodas yaitu Athryium sp. pada kelas elevasi I, Dyplazium pallidum dan Procis frutescens pada kelas elevasi II, Strobilanthus cemua pada kelas elevasi III, serta Elatostema stigerum pada kelas elevasi IV.

Clidemia hirta is an understory species that has drug potentially and can be found in Resort Cibodas area. The result of understory screening by Arbiastutie (2012) showed it contains alkaloid, flavonoid, and steroid as secondary metabolite compound. Development of Clidemia hirta as medicine ingredient is one of the solutions that can be done to support the management effort of national park. However, the lack information of its distribution and association can be constraint for management. This research aims to know the understory distribution and association of Clidemia hirta in Resort Cibodas area. Vegetation analysis based on habitat study is used for research method. It is directed to find the habitat characteristics of Clidemia hirta that influence to its distribution pattern and association. The result showed the distribution of Clidemia hirta is located at the range of elevation between 1.327 to 1.610 m above sea level with the landslope level reached 10 to 35 %. This species is able to adapt in high rainfall that about 2.515,7 to 6.3967, 9 mm year -1.The range of temperature that support its growth is about 20,74 to 25,7 0C with the air humidity level reached 72,6 to 85,6 %. This spesies can also survive at low light concentrate between 358 up to 1.822 lux. The distribution pattern of Clidemia hirta is regular that stated value of morista index is 0,583. There is a negative relationship between the elevation level with the abundance of Clidemia hirta. It can be expressed through the mathematical equation as y = - 0,0209x + 35,441 with r2= 0,741. In each elevation classes, there are difference undestory species that has most powerful association with Clidemia hirta in Resort Cibodas area. They are Athryium sp. at elevation class I, Dyplazium pallidum and Procis frutescens at elevation class II, Strobilanthus cemua at elevation class III, and Elatostema stigerum at elevation class IV
