Tugas akhir ini berjudul TERJEMAHAN CERITA BERGAMBAR RAKUDAI NINJA RANTAROU: SANNIN GUMI NO ATTO ODOROKU TAKARASAGASHI. Cerita bergambar ini dikarang oleh Amako Soubee dan diterbitkan pada volume ke 47.Alasan penulis memilih untuk menerjemahkan cerita bergambar ini adalah ceritanya yang lucu dan mengangkat teka-teki dengan huruf kanji. Dalam proses penerjemahan cerita bergambar ini digunakan metode terjemahan komunikatif. Metode ini berusaha mempertahankan makna kontekstual yang tepat dari bahasa sumber sedemikian rupa sehingga baik isi maupun bahasanya langsung dapat dipahami dan diterima oleh pembaca teks terjemahan. Selain menerjemahkan, dibahas juga tentang huruf-huruf kanji yang dipakai dalam teka-teki di cerita bergambar ini. Dengan adanya pembahasan mengenai huruf kanji tersebut, pembaca menjadi semakin paham akan pesan yang ada dalam cerita ini. Selain itu, cerita bergambar ini memiliki unsur komedi, sehingga cocok dinikmati oleh semua kalangan umur.

This final paper is titled The Translation of Japanese Manga Titled Rakudai Ninja Rantarou: Sannin Gumi no Atto Odoroku Takarasagashi. This book was made by Soubee Amako and published on series 47. The reason the writer choose to translate this story are, because the story is entertaining and the story also lifted a puzzle with kanji word. In the proccess of translating this story, the writer use the communication method. Which this method try to maintain the best contectual mean from the source language, that the plot either the language directly can be receive and understand by the reader. Beside of translating the story, the writer also discusses about the kanji word that is in the book. Kanji that is try to discuss by the writer is the kanji are contained in the puzzle of the story. The writer hopes that the discussion of the existing kanji , readers are becoming increasingly aware of the message that is in this story. The story has elements of comedy, so it fits enjoyed by all society .
