Kekuatan pondasi tiang diperoleh dengan cara teoritis dan uji lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pelaksanaan loading test, menghitung nilai kapasitas / daya dukung tiang tunggal, dan mengetahui koefisien pengali (kp) kapasitas teoritis terhadap kapasitas lapangan Hasil penelitian menghasilkan daya dukung (Qall) berdasarkan data sondir menurut metode Meyerhof dan metode Begeman berada pada kisaran 56,83 - 69,33 ton dan 68,36 - 82,69 ton, sedangkan hasil pembebanan (loading test) daya dukung ijin (Qall) menurut metode Chin (1971) dan metode Mazurkiewicz (1972) berada pada kisaran 266,67 - 367 ton dan 215 - 297 ton. Nilai koefisien pengali pembangunan apartemen grand pakubuwono yang berlokasi di Jakarta Selatan, berkisar antara 2,78 - 5,81.
