PROSES PEMBUATAN KAIN NONWOVEN DI PT. HILON FELT TANGERANG

Tugas akhir yang berjudul “Proses Pembuatan Kain Nonwoven di PT. Hilon Felt Tangerang” ini merupakan hasil penelitian praktek kerja lapangan yang dilakukan selama dua bulan dari bulan maret 2014 sampai mei 2014 di PT. Hilon Felt Tangerang. Tugas akhir ini menjelaskan tentang proses pembuatan dan kendala yang terjadi pada saat proses pembuatan kain nonwoven di FP line II PT. Hilon Felt Tangerang. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa dalam proses pembuatan kain nonwoven dibagi menjadi tiga proses, yaitu proses pertama pada bahan baku (incoming) secara manual, proses produksi dengan menggunakan mesin-mesin, dan terakhir adalah proses finishing. Pada saat proses pembuatan kain nonwoven juga terjadi kendala. Kendala yang terjadi yaitu pada kualitas bahan baku yang jelek, fan yang mampet, pengaturan mesin yang tidak sesuai pada gauge di mesin carding, mesin cross lapper, mesin needle punch, mesin oven santex, mesin compact metal detector, dan mesin winder otomatis.

This graduating paper entitled "Nonwoven Fabrics Making Process in PT. Hilon Felt Tangerang" is the result of research field work during two months from March 2014 to May 2014 in PT. Hilon Felt Tangerang. This graduating paper explained about the process of making and obstacles that occur during nonwoven fabrics making process in the FP line II PT. Hilon Felt Tangerang. Based on the results obtained from the observations, interviews, and analysis of literature, it is known that in the process of making nonwoven fabric is devided into three processes, namely the first process on the raw material (incoming) manually, using a production process machines, and the last is the finishing process. During the process of manufacture of nonwoven fabrics also occur constraint. Constraints that occur are the poor quality of the raw material, which clogged fan, which does not match the settings on the gauge on the carding machine, cross lapper machine, needle punch machine, oven santex machine, compact metal detector machine, and automatic winder machine.
