Tugas akhir merupakan salah satu syarat kelulusan bagi mahasiswa. Dalam proses penyelesaian tugas akhir, mahasiswa diberikan dosen pembimbing yang akan mengarahkan dan memberikan saran mulai dari pengajuan judul tugas akhir sampai dengan penyelesaian sistem dan laporan tugas akhir. Di Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada, proses bimbingan tugas akhir dilaksanakan dengan bertatap muka langsung antara mahasiswa dengan dosen pembimbingnya sesuai dengan jadwal yang ditetapkan oleh dosen pembimbing. Sistem bimbingan seperti ini menjadi kurang optimal karena mahasiswa dan dosen pembimbing sering kali tidak dapat bertemu karena tidak adanya kecocokan waktu. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan suatu sistem informasi yang dapat membantu dalam proses bimbingan agar dalam pelaksanaannya lebih optimal. Sistem informasi bimbingan tugas akhir dibangun dengan menggunakan framework laravel dan basis data MySQL. Sistem informasi bimbingan tugas akhir ini menangani proses pendaftaran tugas akhir, pendaftaran judul tugas akhir dan proses bimbingan yang dapat diakses oleh mahasiswa dan dosen. Dengan adanya sistem informasi bimbingan tugas akhir ini, diharapkan kebutuhan pengelolaan data tugas akhir dapat terpenuhi dan meminimalisir masalah-masalah yang menyebabkan ketidakoptimalan proses bimbingan tugas akhir.

A final project is one of the conditions of approval for the student. In the end of the project solving process, each student is guided by a thesis adviser who will instruct and give advice from submission of the final project title until the settlement of the system and the final project report. In the Vokasi School of Gadjah Mada University, the coaching process of the final project is performed by direct face-to-face between the student and their thesis adviser according to the schedule set by the thesis adviser. This guiding system is less optimal because students and thesis advisers are often not able to meet because there is no coherence time. Based on these problems, we need an information system that can assist in the process of implementation guidance in the optimal order. Final project guidance information system is built by using framework laravel and MySQL database. This guidance information system of final project handles the enrollment process, the registration of the final title and guidance process that can be accessed by the students and the faculty. With this system of final guidance information, hopefully the final project data management needs can be met and minimize problems cause not optimal guidance of the final project.
