Tertib berlalu lintas merupakan komponen yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari – hari khususnya dalam hal mengendarai kendaraan bermotor di jalanan umum. Namun pada realitanya banyak terjadi pelanggaran lalu lintas yang menyebabkan kemacetan dan ketidaknyamanan bagi pengguna jalan lain. Khususnya pada jalur busway di Jakarta, banyak sekali kendaraan yang masuk pada jalur khusus busway yang mengakibatkan kemacetan dan ketidaknyamanan bagi penumpang busway karena menimbulkan kemacetan sehingga waktu tempuh menjadi lama. Tujuan sistem ini dibuat adalah untuk memberikan kenyamanan dan penegakan tata tertib berlalu lintas bagi pengguna jalan yang menerobos jalur busway. Dalam sistem ini, alat akan mendeteksi dan akan bekerja pada saat busway saja yang ada di depan pintu dalam jarak tertentu. Artinya kendaraan lain tidak dapat melewati pintu otomatis ini. Untuk dapat beroperasi, alat ini menguunakan beberapa input dan output diantaranya sensor warna, motor servo, dan sensor inframerah. Sensor warna akan mendeteksi kode warna yang ada pada body busway yang tidak dimiliki oleh kendaraan lain. Sensor warna ini sebagai inputan untuk menggerakkan motor servo dalam keadaan pintu membuka dan sensor inframerah sebagai inputan untuk menggerakkan motor servo dalam keadaan menutup. Pergerakan motor servo terbatas pada jangkauan 0˚ - 180˚. Sensor inframerah dapat mendeteksi benda pada jarak paling jauh 80 cm.

But in reality many traffic violations that cause congestion and inconvenience to other road users . Especially in Jakarta busway lane , a lot of vehicles entering the busway lane resulting in congestion and inconvenience to passengers busway for causing congestion so that the travel time becomes longer . The purpose of this system is made to provide comfort and enforcement of traffic rules for road users who break the busway lane . In this system , the tool will detect and will work only when the busway is in front of the door within a certain distance . This means that other vehicles can not pass through the automatic doors . To operate, this tool menguunakan multiple inputs and outputs including color sensors, servo motors, and infrared sensors. The sensor will detect the color of the existing color code in the body of the busway is not owned by another vehicle . This color sensor as an input to drive the servo motor in an open door and an infrared sensor as an input to drive the servo motor in the closing state. The movement of the servo motor is limited to the range 0 Ëš - 180 Ëš. Infrared sensors can detect objects at the farthest distance of 80 cm.
