Kualitas dari setiap unit yang dihasilkan oleh Toyota merupakan prioritas yang menjadikan Toyota menjadi mobil pilihan utama masyarakat Indonesia. Maka untuk menjaga kualitas dari setiap unit yang di hasilkan oleh Toyota, diperlukan suatu hasil akhir yang sempurna dan memiliki daya saing tinggi. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang menarik minat konsumen adalah mengenai warna unit tersebut. Untuk menghasilkan warna cat body maka harus dilakukan proses painting hingga beberapa tahap demi menghasilkan warna yang menarik dan tahan lama. Proses painting tersebut selain dikerjakan otomatis oleh mesin ataupun robot, juga dikerjakan secara manual oleh operator. Dimana keahlian dan kemampuan masing – masing operator berbeda, maka untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal perlu dilakukan simulasi sebelum benar – benar bekerja di dalam line. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan suatu adanya conveyor yang mampu menarik beban berupa body mobil dan terdapat equipment sebagai peralatan untuk proses painting. Dalam hal ini proses yang akan disimulasikan adalah proses sealer (pemberian seal), frame tape (pemasangan tape pada tepi kaca pintu), dan spray booth (penyemprotan). Conveyor adalah suatu sistem mekanik yang mempunyai fungsi memindahkan barang dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain. Dalam pokok bahasan kali ini conveyor yang digunakan merupakan conveyor sederhana baik dari segi mekanik maupun elektriknya namun mampu menarik beban sebesar body mobil. Pada training room ini ada tiga buah conveyor yang masing – masing conveyornya memiliki kotak operasional dan sistem kontrol dari ketiga conveyor tersebut diatur dalam sebuah kontrol panel pusat.

The quality of each unit produced by Toyota is a priority that makes Toyota became the primary car choice of Indonesian society. To maintain the quality of each unit that produced by Toyota, need a perfect end result and have high competitiveness. One of the external factors which attract the consumers is the color of unit. To produce the body paint color so it has to do the painting for several steps in order to produce attractive colors and durable. In addition to painting process is done automatically by the machine or robot, are also done manually by the operator. Where the skill and ability of each operator are different, then to achieve maximum results need to be simulated before works in the real line. Therefore needed a conveyor that capable to pulling a load body of the car and there is the equipments for painting process. In this case the process which will be simulated is the sealer process (seal distributing), frame tape ( mounting tape on the border of door), and spray booth ( spraying ). Conveyor is a mechanical system which has the function to moving things from one place to another. In this time the subject of conveyors that used is a simple conveyor in terms of both mechanic and electric material but was able to pull the load of the car body. In the training room there is three conveyors that every conveyor have an operational box and control systems of the three conveyors are set by a central control panel .
