PENGARUH PELATIHAN KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PERILAKU KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL BERDASAR PERSEPSI KARYAWAN

2013 | Tesis | S2 Magister Profesi PsikologiPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap peningkatan kualitas perilaku kepemimpinan transformasional berdasar persepsi karyawan. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kualitas perilaku kepemimpinan transformasional berdasar persepsi karyawan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan rancangan kuasi eksperimen yaitu untreated control group design with dependent pre test and post test samples. Komparasi dilakukan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini melibatkan supervisor sebagai subjek penelitian dan subordinat sebagai informan penelitian. Manipulasi berupa pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional diberikan kepada subjek kelompok eksperimen, sedangkan subjek kelompok kontrol tidak mendapatkan perlakuan. Dampak manipulasi diukur dari persepsi subordinat terhadap kualitas perilaku kepemimpinan supervisor. Pengukuran persepsi subordinat dengan menggunakan skala kepemimpinan transformasional dilakukan sebelum dan setelah pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional diberikan. Data dianalisis dengan analisis uji-t. Hasil uji-t gain score menunjukkan persepsi informan kelompok eksperimen terbukti signifikan lebih tinggi daripada persepsi informan kelompok kontrol (t=2.010; p< 0.05).
This study is aimed to determine the effect of transformational leadership training towards the quality of transformational leadership behavior improvement base on employees' perceptions. Hypothesis of the study is transformational leadership training has an effect towards improving the quality of transformational leadership behavior base on the employees' perception. The study was conducted using a designed quasi-experiment; the untreated control group design with dependent pretest and post test samples. Comparisons were carried out between an experimental group and a control group. this study involve supervisors as research subjects and subordinate as research informants. a manipulated of transformational leadership training was given to the experimental group while the control group was not. Impact from the manipulated training could be observed from the subordinate's perception towards the leadership quality of their supervisor. Evaluation of the subordinate perception is measured by using a transformational leadership scale, before and after the training was conducted. Data were analyzed by t-test analysis. The result of the t-test gain score indicates that the perception of the informants from the experimental group was able to prove any significantly higher gain score than the control group (=2.010; p< 0.05)
