The Driver Behaviour Questionnaire was used in many countries to investigate the driver behavior, especially driver’s violation. The original DBQ was developed in Great Britain and then followed by another developed countries afterwards. Less study was conducted in developing countries. The difference in traffic characteristics of developed and developing countries did not influenced the validity items of DBQ. The DBQ items can be used in Indonesia, since all the items was valid (score of validity > 3.12). The study of DBQ found that the demographic variables (age, sex and driving mileage) have correlation with violation (score of DBQ). The previous study showed that young driver, male drivers and drivers with higher annual mileage commit violation more than older drivers, female drivers and drivers with low annual mileage. The present study did not show the same result. From the demographic variables, only age which have correlation with violation. Young drivers (age between 18-25 years old) found to commit more violation than the other age groups (older drivers). But there is no difference in violation between male and female drivers and between drivers with high and low annual mileage. An analysis of variance was used in this analysis. The analysis using Kendalls tau_b and Spearman Rho showed that there is correlation between violation and traffic accident occurrence (sign = 0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient value for Kendalls tau_b = 0.229 and Spearman’s Rho 0.315, means that the correlation between violation and traffic accident is weak
