Dengan berkembangnya kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi penduduk suatu daerah di perlukan sarana dan prasarana pengangkutan yang lebih memadai.Kota Teminabuan ini merupakan pusat kegiatan pemerintahan pendidikan,kesehatan, ekonomi dan perdagangan bagi daerah belakangnya.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang di hadapai oleh Pemerintah Sorong Selatan berkaitan dangan pelabuhan lama yang kecil dan tidak menampung aktifitas kapal serta bongkar muat barang dan penumpang. Untuk itu Pemerintah Sorong Selatan membanguan Pelabuhan laut baru Teminabuan di Selat Wersimar Tujuan Kajian Ulang Rencana Induk Pelabuhan Laut Wersema Teminabuan Kabupaten Sorong Selatan adalah sebagai berikut:Pembangunan suatu pelabuhan diperlukan untuk melayani atau meningkatkan kegiatan ekonomi daerah di belakangnya serta dapat menunjang perdagangan antara pulau atau negara (ekspor impor). Pelabuhan ini banyak mendukung perkembangan kota di dekatnya dan daerah belakangnya. Agar Kajian Ulang Rencana Induk Kawasan Pelabuhan Wersemar Teminabuan Sorong Selatan dapat dimanfatkan sesuai dengan desain peruntukan lahan yang telah diarahkan pemerintah, swasta dan masyarakat.Agar arahan fisik yang dapat di ambil dalam pemanfataan ruang terbuka pada kawasan Pelabuhan Wersimar Teminabuan sesuai dengan arahan kajian induk kawasan Pelabuhan Wersimar.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode evaluasi terhadap dokumen perencanaan tata ruang kawasan Pelabuhan Wersimar Teminabuan yang ada.Rencana induk kawasan Pelabuhan Wersimar Teminabuan yang baru telah sesuai dengan kondisi fisik lokasi dan kawasan yang bersangkutan tatapi belum di tata dengan baik.Pelabuhan wersimar perlu di tata dengan di buat program-program ruang yang baik agar semua aktifitas pada kawasan Pelabuhan Wersimar dapat terakomodir dengan baik dan terarah.

To connect the rear areas in Sorong Selatan District, one transport model has been used is the sea and land transportation from Sorong District.To overcome the problems faced by the government of Sorong Selatan associated with a small old port and does not accommodate the activities of ships and loading and unloading of goods and passenger, then Sorong Selatan Government build a new seaport Teminabuan on the Strait Wersimar.Objective review of the master plan Wersimar Seaport Teminabuan Sorong Selatan District are as follows:Construction of a port is required to serve or improve the local economic activities can support behind him and trade among the islands or countries (exports-imports) is support many things for the port development in the nearby town and back areas. To review the master plan of the Warsemar Harbor Teminabuan can be utilized in accordance with the design of land allotment has directed the government, private and public.Referral to a physical that can be taken in the use of open space in the port area in accordance with Wersimar Teminabuan direction of the harbor master studies Wersimar.This research approach to the evaluation method of spatial planning documents of Wersimar Harbor Teminabuan.Master plan of the Wersimar harbor Teminabuan in accordance with the location and physical condition of the relevant area but have not organized well.Wersimar port need to be arranged with the space program is good for all activities in the port area can be accommodated well and directed.
