Penyusunan penilaian kinerja model Bars untuk meningkatkan persepsi karyawan terhadap objektifitas penialaian kinerja

2009 | Tesis | S2 Magister Profesi PsikologiKepuasan terhadap penilaian merupakan elemen yang penting dalam penilaian kinerja, dimana efektifitas penilaian kinerja dan umpan balik sangat tergantung pada tingkat penerimaan karyawan terhadap sistem penilaian kinerja yang berlaku. Penerimaan awal karyawan dapat terlihat pada persepsi karyawan terhadap objektifitas penilaian kinerja. Melalui desain quasi experiment dan metode action research penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penyusunan penilaian kinerja model behaviorally anchored rating scale (BARS) dalam meningkatan persepsi karyawan terhadap objektifitas penilaian kinerja. Prosedur penelitian penyusunan penilaian kinerja model BARS menerapakan penggabungan metode action research (John Collier dkk, 1940) dan tahapan penyusunan BARS (Rarick dan Baxter,2001). Subjek penelitian (n=12) terdiri dari 5 jabatan di BPR Danagung Bakti Yogyakarta yaitu pembukuan, customer service/ informasi, teller, staf administrasi dana dan staf administrasi kredit. Persepsi objektifitas penilaian kinerja diukur menggunakan kuesioner persepsi objektifitas penilaian kinerja yang disusun Daley (1985) yang dimodifikasi Puspitasari (2007). Pengukuran dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah dikenai perlakuan yang menggunakan kuesioner persepsi objektifitas penilaian kinerja. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan penilaian kinerja model BARS dapat meningkatkan persepsi karyawan terhadap objektifitas penilaian kinerja secara signifikan (t=-11,17; p<0,001).
Satisfaction of appraisal is important factor of performance appraisal, that effectivity of performance appraisal and feedback, very depend on employee acceptance level to performance appraisal used. Employee first acceptance that appear on objectivity perception of performance appraisal. Using a quasi-experiment design and action research method, this research is aimed to study the effectivity of compiling of BARS model performance appraisal to enhance employee`s objectivity perception of performance. Research procedure of compiling of BARS model performance appraisal applicated collaboration method between action research (John Collier dkk, 1940) and BARS compiling procedure (Rarick dan Baxter, 2001). Subjects (n=12) are employees of BPR Danagung Bakti, consist of 5 job. They are accounting, customer service/information, teller, funding staff administration, and credit staff administration. Objectivity perception of performance appraisal measure using objectivity perception of performance appraisal questionnaire compiled Daley (1985) and modificated Puspitasari (2007). Objectivity perception of performance appraisal was measured twice, before and after intervention using objectivity perception of performance appraisal questionnaire. Data analysis revealed that compiling of BARS model performance appraisal is increasing employee`s objectivity perception of performance appraisal in significantly (t= -11,17; p<0,001).
