Perubahan spasial permukiman sekitar Pondok Pesantren Krapyak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan konsep empiris mengenai perubahan spasial permukiman di sekitar Pondok Pesantren Krapyak dengan pertanyaan penelitian : (1) Seperti apakah perubahan spasial permukiman di sekitar Pondok Pesantren Krapyak Yogyakarta ? dan (2) Konsep apa sajakah yang mendasari perubahan tersebut?. Penelitan ini menggunakan metode naturalistik/fenomenologi dengan teknik induktif-kualitatif pada 13 kasus yang dieksplorasi. Kasus yang dieksplorasi memunculkan 19 temuan tema yang terbagi kedalam dimensi historis pondok, dimensi sosial, budaya dan ekonomi, perubahan spasial yang terjadi serta perubahan spasial yang secara eksplisit dipengaruhi Pondok Pesantren Krapyak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Krapyak mempengaruhi perubahan spasial permukiman di sekitarnya. Ada 5 pola perubahan spasial yang terjadi serta 4 konsep yang mendasari perubahan spasial tersebut. Konsep yang mendasari perubahan spasial adalah : (1) Konsep Interaksi ; (2) Konsep Manfaat ; (3) Konsep Ideologi dan (4) Konsep Karakter Pondok.

The objective of this research was to formulating empirical concept about the spatial change of the settlement around Islamic Boarding School of Krapyak. The research based on two questions : (1) How the form of the spatial change of the settlement around Islamic Boarding School of Krapyak ? and (2) What is the concepts that based of the spatial change ?. The research used naturalistic/phenomenology method with inductivequalitative technic at the 13 exploration cases. The cases appear 19 themes that divided into historical dimension, social, cultural and economical dimension, the spatial change that have been done and the spatial change which have influenced from Islamic boarding school of Krapyak. The result was concluded that Islamic Boarding School of Krapyak give the influence to the spatial change surroundings. There were 5 pattern of the spatial change and 4 concepts of the spatial change, (1) Interaction Concept; (2) Benefit Concept; (3) Idelogy Concept and (4) Islamic Boarding School Character Concept.
