2006 | Tesis | Magister ManajemenStudi ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis industri farmasi Indonesia dengan mengidentifikasi prospek industri farmasi Indonesia dan peluang atau ancaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yaitu data yang telah mengalami pengolahan oleh pihak lain. Data ini diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti Biro Pusat Statistik, majalah, Badan POM, serta lembaga research.Metode Analisis data yang digunakan adalah lingkungan eksternal, dimana lingkungan eksternal adalah faktor-faktor yang uncontrolable atau yang diluar kendali perusahaan yang meliputi karakteristik industri, Five Forces Model, Driving Force serta Key Success Factor. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa industri farmasi Indonesia saat ini dan masa yang akan datang masih menarik untuk dilakukan. Faktor lain yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian dari perusahaan farmasi Indonesia adalah driving force seperti peraturan No.068/Menkes/SK/II/2006 tentang pelabelan obat farmasi dan manfaatnya bagi konsumen Indonesia, banyak konsekuensi jangka panjang yang akan dilewati. Dengan ketentuan ini dari sudut pandang produsen, akan merasa terbebani karena menghadapi kesulitan teknis dan terbebani biaya tambahan berkaitan dengan kewajiban kemasan baru.Dari tinjauan key success factor, ada lima faktor kunci yang harus dimiliki perusahaan farmasi dalam memenangkan persaingan, yaitu: (1) Kemampuan R&D, (2) Kemampuan manufacturing dan (3) Kemampuan distribusi (4) Teknologi (5) Pemasaran .
The aim of this study is to analyze the Indoesia Pharmaceutical Industry by identifying the prospect, the opportunity and the threats of the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia. This research uses the secondary data which has been processed by the other party. This data is obtained from various sources like, Statistical Center Bureau, magazine, National of Drug and Food Control (Badan POM) and research institute. The method of analyzing data which is used is the external environment. The external environment is the uncontrolable factor or the factor outside the company authority which include industry characteristic, five forces model, Driving Force and Key Success Factor The result of analyzes indicate that the invesment prospect for the Pharmaceutical company in Indonesia is still promising for this moment and for the future.The other factor which requires more attention from the Indonesia Pharmaceutical Industries is the driving force like the Ministry of Health regulation No 068/Menkes/SK/II/2006 about the labeling of pharmaceutical medicine and the Indonesian consumer benefits. When this regulation is applied by the government, the pharmaceutical companies will face the technical difficulties, encumbered by the additional cost for new packaging and face the other long period consequences. From evaluation of key success factor, there are five key factors must be owned by the pharmacy company in winning the competition, That are : (1) The ability R&D, (2) The ability manufacturing and (3) distribution Ability (4) Technology (5) Marketing
