Penelitian ini merupakan Kajian Potensi Mataair Sebagai Sumber Air Bersih di Kota Oksibil Kabupaten Pegunungan Bintang Provinsi papua. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi Mataair Okapnum dan Okalud yang berada di daerah penelitian sebagai sumber air bersih serta mengkaji kualitas air mataair yang dimaksud. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan dilapangan atau data hasil pengamatan di laboratorium. Data primer meliputi data debit mataair, data kualitas air dng parameter fisika, kimia, dan biologi air (suhu, warna air, pH, bau dan rasa, DHL, Kesadahan, K, NH4, Cr, NO3, NO2, Cl, OH-2, Fe total, Na, Ca, So4 dan bakteri coli). Data sekunder merupakan data diperoleh dari studi leteratur berupa data fisik wilayah penelitian secara umum (letak, batas dan luas, iklim serta curah hujan) dan data kependudukan wilayah penelitian (komposisi penduduk menurut jenis kelamin) Debit mataair Okapnum 143 lt/det dan mataair Okalud 40 lt/det. Debit yang ada cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih di Kota Oksibil dengan prediksi jumlah penduduk pada tahun 2015 adalah 1.666 jiwa. Kualitas air mataair Okapnum, kekeruhan, menunjukkan angka yang tinggi yaitu 61 NTU dan kandungan Escherichia coli yaitu 39 MPN/100 ml. Kualiatas air mataair Okalud untuk parameter kekeruhan 41 NTU , DHL 593 Mikro mhos/cm, dan Escherichia coli 150 MPN/100 ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkat kualitas air mataair Okapnum dan mataair Okalud masih memenuhi syarat untuk sumber air bersih, adalah mataair Okapnum DHL (120 Mikro mhos/cm), Kesadahan (56,5 Ppm), K (0,5 Ppm), NH4 (0,00 Ppm), Cr (0,00 Ppm) , NO3 (0,00 Ppm), NO2 (0,00 Ppm), Cl (7,4 Ppm), OH-2 (0,00 Ppm), Fe total (0,00 Ppm), Na (1,0 Ppm), Ca (8,7 Ppm), So4 (6,1 Ppm). Mata Air Okalud DHL (593 Mikro mhos/cm), Kesadahan (226 Ppm), K (0,3 Ppm), NH4 (0,00 Ppm), Cr (0,00 Ppm) , NO3 (14 Ppm), NO2 (0,00 Ppm), Cl (5,6 Ppm), OH-2 (0,00 Ppm), Fe total (0,00 Ppm), Na (0,6 Ppm), Ca (85,2 Ppm), So4 (2,0 Ppm).

This research was study of spring water potential for clean water in Oksibil city pegunungan Bintang regency, Province Papua. This study was aimed to know potency of okapnum and Okalud spring water which was in investigate region as clean water research and to evaluate potency of ones to cover clean water at those place. This one used primary and secondary data. The primary was the one that was come from result of investigation at field or laboratory. Those data included spring water debet, water quality data contained physical, chemical, and biological parameters (temperature, colour, pH, smell and taste, electric conductivity force, hardness , K, NH4, Cr, NO3, NO2, Cl, OH-2, total Fe, Na, Ca, SO4, and E. coli). The secondary one was come from literature study included common area research physical data ( society composition based on gender). Okapnum debet was 143 l/second and okalud was 40 l/second. Those ones was enough to fullfill clean water requirements at that place which was predicted by total citizenary in 2015 was 1666 peoples. Quality of Okapunum, turbidity, showed high score which was 61 NTU and E. coli contamination was 39 MPN/100 ml. Quality of Okalud as turbidity parameter was 41 NTU, DHL 593 Micro mhos/cm and E.coli was 150 MPN/100 ml. The results showed that overall Okapunum and Okalud spring water qualiy were still fullfill clean water resources requirement, which were okapunum spring water electric condudtivity force ( 120 Micro mhos/cm), hardness ( 56,5 ppm), K ( 0,05 ppm), NH4 (0,00 ppm), Cr ( 0,00 ppm), NO3 (0,00 ppm), NO2 (0,00 ppm), Cl ( 7,4 ppm), OH -2 (0,00 ppm), total Fe (0,00 ppm), Na ( 1,0 ppm), Ca ( 8,7 ppm), SO4 (6,1 ppm ), Okalud artesian electric condudtivity force ( 593 Micro mhos/cm), hardness ( 226 ppm), K ( 0,3 ppm), NH4 (0,00 ppm), Cr ( 0,00 ppm), NO3 (14 ppm), NO2 (0,00 ppm), Cl ( 5,6 ppm), OH -2 (0,00 ppm), total Fe (0,00 ppm), Na ( 0,6 ppm), Ca ( 85,2 ppm), SO4 (2,0 ppm ).
