Budidaya Nila Merah (Oreochromis sp.) di Karamba Jaring Apung Waduk Gajah Mungkur, Kabupaten Wonogiri Saat Pandemi COVID-19

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui budidaya nila merah saat pandemi COVID-19 di karamba jaring apung yang berlokasi di Waduk Gajah Mungkur, terutama pada aspek teknis dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 54 orang pembudidaya nila merah. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pandemi COVID-19 terhadap budidaya nila merah. Dampak pada aspek teknis meliputi penurunan jumlah unit karamba jaring apung yang digunakan untuk produksi, penurunan jumlah tebar benih, penurunan jumlah total pakan, penurunan frekuensi pakan harian, penurunan waktu pemeliharaan, penurunan ukuran ikan nila merah yang dipanen, dan penurunan total produksi. Dampak pada aspek ekonomi ditunjukkan melalui adanya kenaikan harga pakan, penurunan harga benih, penurunan harga jual ikan, dan penurunan pendapatan pembudidaya nila merah.
Aquaculture is one of sector that is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed to determine the cultivation of red tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) during the COVID-19 pandemic in the floating net cages located in Gajah Mungkur Reservoir, especially in technical and economical aspects. This research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaire and interview. The number of respondents consisted of 54 red tilapia farmers. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there was an effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on red tilapia cultivation on technical and economical aspects. The impacts on technical aspects such as decrease in the number of operated floating net cages, decrease in the amount of fish seeds, decrease in the total feed needs, decrease in the feeding frequency, decrease in the cultivation period, decrease in the size of harvested fish, and decrease in the number of total production. The impacts on economical aspects such as increase in the feed prices, decrease in the seeds prices, decrease in the fish selling prices, and decrease the income of red tilapia farmers.
