GAMBARAN PEMANFAATAN BUKU KESEHATAN IBU DAN ANAK BAGI IBU DENGAN BAYI BARU LAHIR PADA SITUASI PANDEMI COVID-19

INTISARI Latar Belakang: Salah satu cara untuk memantau status kesehatan ibu dan bayinya adalah melalui pemanfaatan buku KIA. Pemanfaatan buku KIA diharap dapat berkontibusi terhadap kualitas pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Adanya situasi pandemi COVID-19 mengharuskan ibu untuk lebih memanfaatkan buku KIA. Oleh karena itu perlu diketahui bagaimana pemanfaatan buku KIA di masa pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui bagaimana dimensi pemanfaatan buku KIA bagi ibu dengan bayi baru lahir pada situasi pandemi COVID-19 Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional pada Juni sampai dengan Juli 2022 dengan responden 101 ibu bayi baru lahir di Puskesmas Gamping II, Puskesmas Kalasan, Puskesmas Prambanan, Puskesmas Sleman dan posyandu. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang telah dilakukan uji validitas isi, validitas konstruk, dan uji reliabilitas dengan hasil valid dan reliabel. Analisis data secara umum dilakukan dengan uji normalitas untuk menemukan cut-off point dan analisis data berdasar dimensi dilakukan dengan membandingkan skor setiap dimensi dengan skor maksimal. Hasil: Lebih dari setengah responden telah memanfaatkan buku KIA dengan baik (54,5%). Dimensi pemanfaatan buku KIA yang memiliki skor paling baik adalah dimensi Buku KIA dijaga agar tidak hilang/rusak (96,04%), dimensi yang memilihi skor paling kurang adalah dimensi ibu bertanya kepada petugas kesehatan pada bagian yang tidak dimengerti pada isi buku KIA (30%). Responden (89,1%) berusia reproduksi sehat, (46,5%) berpendidikan menengah, (75,25%) IRT, (40,59%) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sleman, (100%) kawin, paritas multipara (54,46%), jaminan kesehatan BPJS (89,11%), (10,89%) yang mengikuti kelas ibu hamil, versi buku KIA 2020 (89,11%), (49,50%) selain di puskesmas memeriksakan bayinya di rumah sakit selain di puskesmas, (72,28%) menjadikan internet sebagai sumber informasi selain buku KIA. Kesimpulan: Pemanfaatan buku KIA oleh ibu dengan bayi baru lahir selama masa pandemi COVID-19 hampir sama antara pemanfaatan baik dan pemanfaatan kurang dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antar dimensi pemanfaatan buku KIA. Tenaga medis puskesmas maupun kader posyandu bisa lebih memberikan penjelasan mengenai buku KIA dan meminta ibu untuk menerapkan isi buku KIA. Ibu dapat lebih sering untuk membaca buku KIA dan mengajak suami serta keluarga lain saat membaca, memahami dan menerapkan buku KIA.

ABSTRACT Background: One way to monitor the health status of mothers and their babies is through the use of MCH handbooks. The use of the MCH handbook is expected to contribute to the quality of maternal and child health services. The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic situation requires mothers to make more use of the MCH handbook. Therefore, it is necessary to know how to use MCH books during the COVID-19 pandemic. Objective: Knowing how to use the MCH handbook for mothers with newborns in the COVID-19 pandemic situation Method: his research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross sectional approach in June to July 2022 with 101 mothers of newborns as respondents at Gamping II Health Center, Kalasan Health Center, Prambanan Health Center, Sleman Health Center and Posyandu. The instrument used is a questionnaire that has been tested for content validity, construct validity, and reliability tests with valid and reliable results. Data analysis is generally carried out with a normality test to find the cutoff point and dimension-based data analysis is carried out by comparing the scores of each dimension with the maximum score. Result: More than half of the respondents have made good use of the MCH handbook (54.5%). The dimension of using the MCH handbook that has the best score is the dimension of the MCH Handbook that is kept from being lost/damaged (96.04%), the dimension that chooses the least score is the dimension of the mother asking health workers in parts that are not understood in the contents of the MCH handbook (30 %). Respondents (89.1%) are of healthy reproductive age, (46.5%) have secondary education, (75.25%) are household heads, (40.59%) in the working area of the Sleman Health Center, (100%) are married, parity multipara (54 ,46%), BPJS health insurance (89.11%), (10.89%) who took the class for pregnant women, the 2020 MCH book version (89.11%), (49.50%) other than at the puskesmas checked their babies at In addition to hospitals, (72.28%) use the internet as a source of information other than MCH books. Conclusion: The use of MCH books by mothers and newborns during the COVID-19 pandemic is almost the same between good use and underutilization and there are significant differences between the dimensions of using MCH books. Health center medical personnel and posyandu cadres can provide more explanations about the MCH handbook and ask mothers to apply the contents of the MCH handbook. Mothers can read MCH books more often and invite their husbands and other families to read, understand and apply MCH books.
