ABSTRACT Introduction At the end of 2019, precisely in December, the world was shocked by an incident that made many people nervous, known as the corona virus (covid-19). The incident began in China, Wuhan. On 30 January 2020 WHO declared COVID-19 a public health emergency of international concern. In Indonesia, in its implementation, there have been many cases of refusal from the public for the burial of corpses using the Covid-19 procedure. Research purposes To find out the suitability of the Covid-19 protocol burial with the Covid-19 diagnosis, to find out how and when to establish a Covid-19 diagnosis on corpses, to find out the number of bodies confirmed positive and negative for Covid-19, to find out the number of bodies confirmed to be positive for Covid-19 directed by the Covid-19 protocol, to find out the number of bodies confirmed positive for Covid-19 who were not ruled by the Covid-19 protocol, to find out the number of bodies confirmed negative for Covid-19 under the Covid-19 protocol. Method This type of research is a descriptive study using retrospective data. The data was taken using data from the 'Covid-19 Body Handling Report at the Forensic and Medicolegal Medical Science Installation' RSUP DR. Sardjito. Research Result The initiation of the Covid-19 protocol corpse with the Covid-19 diagnosis was appropriate, the confirmation of the Covid-19 diagnosis by clinical examination and PCR swab was carried out when the patient / body was in the ward or emergency department by the DPJP, the number of bodies confirmed positive was 1649, confirmed negative was 58, the number of bodies was confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to the Covid-19 protocol was 1592, the number of bodies confirmed positive for Covid-19 not under the Covid-19 protocol was 57, the number of bodies confirmed negative for Covid-19 according to the Covid-19 protocol was 58. Conclusion Implementation of the Covid-19 Protocol on corpses with a Covid-19 diagnosis was appropriate, but there were still positive Covid-19 bodies that did not receive the Covid-19 protocol so that it endangers the community, diagnosis of corpses weres fully authorized by the doctor in charge of the patient, the number of Covid-19 bodies confirmed positive for Covid-19 was 1649 and did not receive the Covid-19 protocol treatment was 57, the number of Covid-19 bodies confirmed negative for Covid-19 and received the Covid-19 protocol was 58.
