Pathogens have always posed a threat since the time of our ancestors. According to historical accounts, there have always been records of discriminatory acts committed against a group that is thought to be the disease's origin. People's perceived vulnerability to disease (PVD) may lead to xenophobia, which is a prejudice against other groups due to a fear of getting sick. Few studies have been done that specifically examine the link between xenophobia and one's subjective assessment of their susceptibility to sickness, notably those done in Indonesia. 109 individuals, ranging in age from 22 to 64, completed the survey that was used to perform this study. Pearson's correlation was used to assess the hypothesis proposed. In this analysis, there was no significance for the hypothesised relationship between xenophobia and PVD. Furthermore, age was also found to be substantially connected with xenophobia in this study.
