Pengaruh Edukasi Dengan Metode Nutriedutainment Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu Dalam Pemenuhan Zat Besi Pada Anak Usia Balita

Latar Belakang: Kekurangan zat besi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan global yang dihadapi dunia saat ini. Tidak hanya wanita hamil dan remaja putri, balita dan anak-anak juga berisiko mengalami hal tersebut. Pengetahuan ibu menjadi prediktor utama kurangnya konsumsi zat besi pada balita. Edukasi yang disertai hiburan sebelumnya dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara pemberian edukasi dengan metode Nutriedutainment dan video terhadap pengetahuan ibu dalam pemenuhan zat besi pada anak usia balita. Metode: Desain penelitian adalah quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan pretest- posttest design with control group. Sebanyak 70 ibu balita direkrut menjadi responden penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara non probability sampling yaitu dengan consecutive sampling. Tiga puluh lima (35) ibu balita pada kelompok intervensi menerima edukasi dengan metode Nutriedutainment menggunakan media video zat besi, dan dilanjutkan bermain kartu kuartet tentang zat besi; sedangkan 35 ibu balita pada kelompok kontrol menerima edukasi dengan media video zat besi. Pengambilan data dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali yaitu sebelum pemberian intervensi (pretest), segera setelah pemberian intervensi (post test I) dan 7 hari setelah intervensi (post test II). Analisis data menggunakan uji non parametrik yaitu Paired wilcoxon, Friedman test dan Mann whitney. Hasil: Uji Friedman test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan bermakna pada ibu balita (p=0,000) sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi dengan menggunakan metode Nutriedutainment maupun video. Uji Mann whitney selisih pengetahuan pretest ke post test II menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan bermakna ibu balita pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Hasil Regresi logistik menunjukkan faktor pendidikan dan edukasi zat besi berhubungan dengan pengetahuan ibu tentang pemenuhan zat besi pada anak usia balita. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pemberian edukasi dengan metode Nutriedutainment dan video terhadap pengetahuan ibu dalam pemenuhan zat besi pada anak usia balita.

Background: Iron deficiency is one of the current global health problems. Not only pregnant women and young women, but toddlers and children are also at risk of experiencing it. Mother's knowledge is the main predictor of lack of iron consumption in toddlers. Education accompanied by previous entertainment can increase knowledge. Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine the difference effect of providing education with the Nutriedutainment method and video on mothers' knowledge of iron fulfillment in children under five. Methods: The research design was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design with control group. A total of 70 mothers of children under five were recruited as research respondents. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, namely consecutive sampling. Thirty-five (35) mothers of children under five in the intervention group received education using the Nutriedutainment method using iron video media, and continued playing a quartet of iron cards; while 35 mothers of children under five in the control group received iron education with video media. Data were collected 3 times, namely before the intervention (pretest), immediately after the intervention (post test I) and 7 days after the intervention (post test II). Data analysis used non-parametric test, namely Paired wilcoxon, Friedman test and Mann whitney. Results: The Friedman test showed that there was a significant difference in knowledge among mothers of children under five (p=0.000) after being given an intervention using the Nutriedutainment method and video. The Mann-Whitney test for the difference in knowledge between pretest and posttest II showed that there was no significant difference in knowledge of mothers of children under five in the intervention and control groups. The results of logistic regression show that education and iron education factors were related to mothers' knowledge about iron fulfillment in children under five years of age. Conclusion: There is no difference in the effect of providing education with the Nutriedutainment method and video on mother's knowledge of iron fulfillment in children under five.
