PERANCANGAN JALUR INTERPRETASI ALAM DI JALUR PENDAKIAN GUNUNG KERINCI MELALUI SOLOK SELATAN TAMAN NASIONAL KERINCI SEBLAT

Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat (TNKS) merupakan salah satu kawasan konservasi di Indonesia yang ditetapkan sebagai kawasan taman nasional pada tahun 1996. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan pemanfaatan di kawasan ini adalah kegiatan pendakian. Berdasarkan hasil revisi zonasi kawasan TNKS pada tahun 2017, terdapat pembukaan Jalur Pendakian Melalui Solok Selatan yang diresmikan pada akhir tahun 2018. Maka dari itu, diperlukan penelitian untuk menyusun rancangan jalur interpretasi guna mendukung pengelolaan Jalur Pendakian Gunung Kerinci Melalui Solok Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi dan mengidentifikasi potensi objek interpretasi alam, merancang jalur interpretasi alam, dan menyusun program interpretasi alam di Jalur Pendakian Gunung Kerinci Melalui Solok Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menginventarisasi potensi flora, fauna, lanskap dan budaya. Data mengenai potensi lanskap diperoleh dengan cara melakukan penilaian secara visual menurut Bureau Land of Management. Pengumpulan data flora dan fauna dilakukan dengan cara mencatat secara langsung jenis-jenis yang ditemui. Data mengenai potensi objek yang terdapat di Jalur Pendakian Gunung Kerinci Melalui Solok Selatan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan hasilnya digunakan sebagai pertimbangan perancangan jalur dan program interpretasi alam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jalur Pendakian Gunung Kerinci Melalui Solok Selatan memiliki potensi yang dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan interpretasi alam. Berdasarkan data objek interpretasi alam yang telah didapatkan, terdapat empat rancangan program interpretasi alam. Rancangan program tersebut mengangkat tema pengamatan satwa liar, pengenalan habitus Nepenthes sp., pengenalan flora khas pegunungan gunung Kerinci, dan petualangan pendakian gunung.

Kerinci Seblat National Park, known as Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat (TNKS) is one of the conservation areas in Indonesia which was designated as a national park in 1996. Hiking is one of the utilization activities in this area. Based on the revision of zoning area in 2017, Mount Kerinci Hiking Trail Through South Solok was opened and inaugurated at the end of 2018. Therefore, it is needed to develop a nature interpretation design to support the management of the Mount Kerinci Hiking Trail Through South Solok. This study aims to inventory and identify potential objects of natural interpretation, design a nature interpretation route, and develop a nature interpretation program on the Mount Kerinci Hiking Trail Through South Solok. The research was conducted by making an inventory of the potential of flora, fauna, landscape, and culture. The potential of landscape data is obtained by conducting a visual assessment according to the Bureau of Land of Management. Besides that, the potential of flora and fauna data is carried out by recording directly the species that encountered at the field. And then, the potential objects that contained in the Mount Kerinci Hiking Trail Through South Solok are analyzed descriptively so the results can be used as considerations for designing nature interpretation programs and routes. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Mount Kerinci Hiking Trail Through South Solok has potential that can be used in nature interpretation programs. Based on the nature interpretation object that has been obtained, there are four nature interpretation program designs. The program design of nature interpretation in Mount Kerinci Hiking Trail Through South Solok raised the theme such as observing wildlife, introducing the habitus of Nepenthes sp., introducing the mountain flora typical of Mount Kerinci, and the adventure of hiking in Mount Kerinci.
