Pengaruh IPK terhadap Masa Tunggu Kerja Mahasiswa FEB UGM

Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh IPK terhadap masa tunggu kerja mahasiswa lulusan FEB UGM. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif statistik dan juga regresi linier (OLS) menggunakan data 403 lulusan FEB UGM yang di wisuda pada tahun 2017 dan 2018. Data bersumber hasil survey dari Keluarga Alumni Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis UGM (KAFEGAMA). Pada penelitian ini, penulis menemukan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh signifikan dari nilai IPK terhadap waktu tunggu kerja. Maka dari itu terdapat faktor faktor lain yang menjadi pertimbangan atas diterimanya lulusan dalam suatu pekerjaan selain dari nilai IPKnya. Faktor tersebut berupa karakteristik personal, skill komunikasi, dan skill dalam penggunaan teknologi.

This study discusses the effect of GPA on the waiting period for students graduating from FEB UGM. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis and also linear regression (OLS) using data from 403 FEB UGM graduates who graduated in 2017 and 2018. The data is sourced from a survey from the Alumni Family of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM (KAFEGAMA). In this study, the authors found that there was no effect of the GPA value on waiting time for work. Therefore, there are other factors that take into consideration the acceptance of graduates in a job other than their GPA. These factors are personal characteristics, communication skills, and skills in using technology.
