In agriculture, shallot farmers generally use pesticides to increase crop yields. However, farmers generally use pesticides excessively without following existing usage guidelines. Pesticide bioaccumulation causes disturbance to target and non-target plants. This study aimed to study the effect of the combination of pesticides with active ingredients mancozeb (Dithane M-45 80 WP) and methomyl (DuPont-Lannate 40 SP) on growth and activity of antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and ascorbate peroxidase (APX)) Allium ascalonicum. The research method begins with determining the IC50 value of a mixture of methomyl and mancozeb, then a treatment test is carried out by giving a different toxicant mixture of methomyl and mancozeb, namely 3.8 : 48.1 micro mole L-1, 7.6 : 36.0 micro mole L-1, 9.5 : 30.0 micro mole L-1, 11.4 : 24.0 micro mole L-1, and 15.2 : 12.0 micro mole L-1. Furthermore, an analysis of the effect of phytotoxicity with growth parameters and analysis of antioxidant enzyme activity was carried out. The results were analyzed using SPSS by applying the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's multiple range test (DMRT) and the correlation between parameters was tested using the Pearson Correlation Coefficient analysis. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the IC50 mixture of metomil and mankozeb is more toxic than the treatment of giving methomyl or mancozeb alone to Allium ascalonicum. The mixed treatment of methomyl and mancozeb decreased the value of growth parameters such as seed germination percentage, survival percentage, root length, shoot length, root shoot length ratio, seedling vigor index, phytotoxicity percentage, and tolerance index. The mixed treatment of metomil and mankozeb significantly increased the activity of antioxidant enzymes (SOD, CAT, and APX).
