Kata Kunci: COVID-19, Umur, LOS (Length of Stay).

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing in the world, one of which is in Indonesia. In July 2021 there was a spike in cases in Indonesia that grabbed the attention of the public. This is very possible for the emergence of various age infected with the COVID-19 virus and makes the complexity of patient care increase which simultaneously results in variations in LOS as one of the quality indicators. This condition makes it necessary for studies to study the correlation between age with length of stay of COVID-19 patient to reduce errors and speed up diagnosis enforcement, maximize resources, reduce other clinical manifestations, and speed up the healing process. Objective: Analyze the correlation between age with length of stay of COVID-19 patients at DKT Yogyakarta Hospital Methods: Is quantitative research with cross-sectional study design. The sample is all COVID-19 patient data (medical records and information system database), taken with total sampling technique, generated 134 samples. Univariate analysis uses descriptive statistics, bivariate uses pearson bivariate correlation test. Results: The highest incidence of COVID-19 cases is in the age group over 65 years (Seniors) as many as 29 patients or 21.64%. The highest average length of stay (LOS) was 9.93 days in the 36-45 age group (late adulthood). The results of statistical tests carried out between age and LOS variables are sig values. (2 tailed) of 0.932 > 0.05. It concluded that there is no relationship between age and LOS. Conclusion: The incidence rate of COVID-19 cases is highest in patients aged >65 years. The average LOS of COVID-19 patients was highest for 9.93 days in the age group of 36-45 years (Late Adulthood) and the lowest for 5.6 days in the age group of 1-5 years (Toddlers). There was no significant correlation between the age of COVID-19 patients and LOS. Keywords: COVID-19, Age, LOS (Length of Stay).
