Analisis Strukturalisme Genetik Dalam Novel Kembang Jepun Karya Remy Sylado

Penelitian ini menganalisis novel Kembang Jepun karya Remy Sylado dengan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik. Novel Kembang Jepun bercerita mengenai seorang tokoh hero problematik yang berjuang dalam dunianya yang terdegradasi. Penelitian ini akan mencari nilai-nilai otentik yang dilakukan oleh tokoh hero problematik melalui relasi tokoh dengan tokoh lainnya dan objek di sekitarnya. Nilai-nilai otentik tersebut merujuk pada pandangan dunia pengarang di dalam novel yang dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi sosial historis pengarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dialektik, yaitu metode yang bekerja dengan pemahaman antara struktur teks, pandangan dunia, dan struktur sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh hero problematik dalam novel Kembang Jepun berhasil menemukan nilai-nilai otentik dalam usahanya untuk mengatasi dunia yang terdegradasi. Hal ini diketahui melalui relasi tokoh hero problematik dengan tokoh-tokoh lainnya dan objek-objek di sekitarnya. Nilai-nilai otentik tersebut kemudian merujuk pada pandangan dunia pengarang, yakni pandangan humanisme religius. Pandangan dunia pengarang ini tidak dapat dilepaskan dari kondisi sosial historis pengarang yang meliputi lingkungan hidup tempat ia dibesarkan (lingkungan Bugis), nilai-nilai religiusitas di lingkungan keluarganya, dan gerakan Mbeling sebagai gerakan yang digagas oleh pengarang untuk memperjuangkan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. This study analyzes the novel Kembang Jepun by Remy Sylado with a genetic structuralism approach. The novel Kembang Jepun tells the story of a problematic hero who struggles in his degraded world. This study will look for authentic values that are carried out by problematic heroes through the character's relationships with other characters and objects around them. These authentic values refer to the author's world view in the novel which is correlated with the author's historical social conditions. The method used in this research is the dialectical method, which is a method that works with an understanding the text structure, world view, and social structures. The results showed that the problematic hero in the Kembang Jepun novel managed to find authentic values in her attempt to overcome a degraded world. This is known through the problematic hero character's relationship with other characters and objects around him. These authentic values then refer to the author's world view, which is the view of religious humanism. The author's world view cannot be separated from the author's historical social conditions which include the environment in which he was raised (Bugis environment), religious values in his family environment, and the Mbeling movement as a movement initiated by the author to fight for human values.
