Dilema Solidaritas di Masa Pandemi COVID-19: Dapur Umum Buruh Gendong Perempuan

Penelitian ini membahas terkait kehadiran solidaritas di masa Pandemi COVID-19 dan bagaimana solidaritas tersebut berperan dalam diskursus kinerja pemerintah. Solidaritas Dapur Umum Buruh Gendong Perempuan (DU Buruh Gendong Perempuan) menjadi subjek utama penelitian ini dalam melihat lebih dalam strategi dan pemaknaan solidaritas bagi para aktor yang terlibat di dalamnya. DU Buruh Gendong Perempuan menekankan isu kelaparan di masa pandemi. Dengan melihat solidaritas dalam prespektif Durkheim (1933) dan analisis terkait dilema filantropi melalui kajian Theodossopoulos (2016), penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap lebih dalam dilema filantropi didalam solidaritas yang ada dalam konteks solidaritas sebagai bentuk resistensi. Melalui penelitian dengan bentuk paritisipatoris, peneliti terlibat secara langsung dalam aktivisme solidaritas DU Buruh Gendong Perempuan. Dalam memaknai solidaritas, peneliti melihat dari dua sudut pandang yakni relawan yang memaknai solidaritas sebagai kepedulian masyarakat resah dan sudut pandang buruh gendong yang memaknai solidaritas sebagai penolong yang meringankan beban mereka. Peneliti melihat solidaritas ini memiliki posisi yang lemah dalam pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja pemerinah dalam menangani pandemi COVID-19. Hasil temuan menunjukan terdapat dilema dalam Solidaritas tersebut terhadap bagaiamana bentuk resistensi mereka dan dampaknya bagi yang mereka kritisi.

This study discusses the presence of solidarity during the COVID-19 pandemic and how this solidarity plays a role in the discourse on government performance. Solidarity of Dapur Umum Buruh Gendong Perempuan (DU Buruh Gendong Perempuan) is the main subject of this research in looking deeper into the strategy and meaning of solidarity for the actors involved in it. DU Buruh Gendong Perempuan emphasized the issue of hunger during the pandemic. By looking at solidarity from the perspective of Durkheim (1933) and analysis of the philanthropic dilemma through the study of Theodossopoulos (2016), this study seeks to reveal more deeply on the philanthropic dilemma in solidarity that exists in the context of solidarity as a form of resistance. Through research in a participatory form, researchers are directly involved in the solidarity activism of DU Buruh Gendong Perempuan. In interpreting solidarity, the researcher describes two perspectives, namely volunteers who interpret solidarity as concern for the restless community and the point of view of buruh gendong perempuan who interpret solidarity as helpers who lighten their burdens. Researcher see this solidarity as having a weak position in its influence on the government's performance in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings shows that there is a dilemma in Solidarity regarding how their resistance forms and its impact on those they criticize.
