EVALUASI GEDUNG ASRAMA MAHASISWA PUTRI BENTUK PERSEGI PANJANG TERHADAP GEMPA KALA ULANG 475 TAHUN BERDASARKAN ASCE 41-17

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang termasuk dalam wilayah gempa dengan intensitas tinggi. Gempa bumi merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang mengakibatkan kerusakan pada bangunan. Dengan kondisi tersebut, salah satu langkah untuk menurunkan risiko kegagalan pada bangunan yaitu dengan evaluasi komponen struktur bangunan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah komponen yang telah dibebani level gempa tertentu masih memenuhi kriteria level kinerja. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan evaluasi gedung asrama putri bentuk persegi panjang kategori risiko IV. Kinerja struktural gedung dievaluasi berdasarkan ASCE 41-17 terhadap level bahaya gempa 475 tahun dengan target level kinerja struktural Immediate Occupancy. Prosedur evaluasi yang dilakukan terdiri dari Tier 1 (screening) dan Tier 2 (deficiency-based evaluation). Berdasarkan evaluasi Tier 1, bangunan mengalami defisiensi pada parameter rasio simpangan dan tegangan geser kolom sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi Tier 2. Berdasarkan evaluasi Tier 2, terdapat komponen kolom K4 tumpuan yang tidak memenuhi kriteria penerimaan aksial lentur untuk level kinerja Immediate Occupancy. Adapun hasil drift ratio setiap lantai pada gedung telah memenuhi persyaratan untuk level kinerja Immediate Occupancy.

Indonesia is an archipelagic country which is included in the earthquake area with high intensity. An earthquake is a natural disaster that causes damage to buildings. Under these conditions, one of the steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of failure in buildings is to evaluate the structural components of the building to find out whether the structural components that have been loaded with a certain earthquake level still comply the performance level criteria. Therefore, an evaluation of the female dormitory building in the rectangular form of risk category IV will be carried out. The structural performance of the building is evaluated based on ASCE 41-17 by applying the 475-years seismic hazard level with a target structural performance level of Immediate Occupancy. The evaluation procedures carried out consisted of Tier 1 (screening) and Tier 2 (deficiency-based evaluation). Based on the Tier 1 evaluation, the building experienced a deficiency, so the Tier 2 evaluation was continued. Based on the Tier 2 evaluation, column components did not comply the acceptance criteria for the Immediate Occupancy performance level. The drift ratio for each floor in the building complied the requirements for the Immediate Occupancy performance level.
