In this research model predictive control for unconstraints linear interconnected systems consider to Single Input Single Output (SISO) process is discussed. Linear interconnected systems are complex systems with subsystems dynamics influenced by the state of other subsystems. The systems are controlled by formulating and applying model predictive control in each subsystem. In this case, the optimization problem is minimize the unconstraints cost function for each subsystem. The optimization problem is solved by calculating the gradient of the cost function toward the input changes. Numerical simulation was conducted to determine the effectiveness of model predictive control performance. Based on the results of the numerical simulation performed, it can be shown that the model predictive control effective to control the linear interconnected systems.
