Pengaruh Edukasi tentang Pencegahan Covid-19 Menggunakan Komik Interaktif dan Video Animasi (Kit-Kovid) terhadap Efikasi diri Ibu pada Anak Usia Sekolah

Latar Belakang: Efikasi diri ibu dalam mencegah penularan Covid-19 pada anak menjadi penting dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19 saat ini. Efikasi diri ibu merupakan salah satu faktor perubahan perilaku ibu dan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan komik interaktif and video animasi (KIT-KOVID) terhadap efikasi diri ibu. Metode: Ibu dari anak usia sekolah di Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia dilibatkan dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi-experiment dengan desain pre-test dan posttest with unequal control group dengan jumlah sampel 40 pada kelompok intervensi dan 38 sampel pada kelompok kontrol. Kelompok intervensi diberikan video animasi dan komik (KIT-KOVID) dengan materi protokol kesehatan Covid-19, menjaga imunitas dan etika batuk atau bersin sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya menerima video animasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Kuesioner Efikasi Diri Ibu Dalam Pencegahan Infeksi Covid-19 yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan realibilitas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan tiga kali yaitu pretest, postest pertama dan postest kedua. Uji statistik Wilcoxon Test digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efikasi sebelum dan sesudah pemberian intervensi, dan Mann Witney test digunakan untuk membadingkan efikasi pada kelompok kontrol dan intervensi. Hasil: Rerata efikasi diri ibu pada kedua kelompok setelah diberikan edukasi dalam kategori baik. Pendidikan kesehatan dengan KIT-KOVID berpengaruh signifikan (p<0,05) dalam meningkatkan skor efikasi diri setelah intervensi pada kelompok intervensi di postes kedua namun tidak signifikan pada kelompok kontrol. Perbedaan rerata efikasi diri pada kelompok kontrol dan intervensi tidak ditemukan perbedaan p>0,005. Kesimpulan: Edukasi kesehatan dengan media video animasi dipadukan dengan komik dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri ibu dalam pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada anak dibandingkan dengan pemberian video animasi saja.

Background: Mother's self-efficacy in preventing the transmission of Covid-19 among children is important in current situation. Mother's self-efficacy is one of the changing the behaviour factors of mothers and children. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of health education with animated video and comic on mother���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s self-efficacy. Methods: Mother of school-aged children in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia were included in the research. This study was a quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test designs with an unequal control group with a total of 40 samples in the intervention group and 38 samples in the control group. The interventions group was given animated videos and comic book (KIT-KOVID) that consist of the Covid-19 health protocol, maintaining immunity and coughingsneezing etiquette while the control group only received the animated video. Data was collected using a Mother's Self-Efficacy in Preventing Covid-19 Infection on Children Questionnaire. The data was collected three time which was pre-test, first post-test and second post-test. Wilcoxon Test was used to determine self-efficacy���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s difference before and after intervention, and Mann Witney test was used to compare self-efficacy between two intervention groups. Results: after a week of intervention mother���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s self-efficacy in both group was in good category. Health education using (KIT-KOVID) has significant effect (p<0.05) in increasing the selfefficacy score before and after the intervention in the intervention group but there���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s no significant different in control group. However, there was no significant different of mother���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s self-efficacy between the two groups. Conclusion: Health education using animated video media that combined with comic books can increase mother's self-efficacy in preventing the transmission of Covid-19 among children.
