Penelitian ini membahas mengenai implementasi public private partnership (PPP) di sektor pendidikan yang berbeda dari penelitian yang telah banyak dilakukan sebelumnya. Sementara penelitian sebelumnya mengulas beragam PPP pendidikan dari beragam sudut pandang, penelitian ini mengulas tren dan pemetaan literatur tersebut dari tahun 1999-2021. Perkembangan penelitian juga disajikan dalam data visual sehingga dapat menghasilkan tren dan peta literatur yang dibahas dalam praktik PPP di sektor pendidikan. Menggunakan konsep PPP di sektor pendidikan, penelitian ini juga mengulas tujuan dan fokus program dan faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan program PPP di sektor pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan ialah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dan Analisis Konten. Systematic Literature Review digunakan untuk memetakan topik penelitian. Tahapan dilakukan mulai dari pengumpulan publikasi yang berasal dari scopus, hasil temuan kemudian melalui proses skrining hingga ekstraksi data. Pemetaan juga disusun dengan alat Vos Viewer yang dapat menunjukkan klasterisasi penelitian. Analisis konten menjadi metode lanjutan untuk menganalisis subtansi dari hasil temuan. Tahap ini dilakukan dengan pembacaan utuh dan mencatat poin penting dalam artikel penelitian yang sesuai dengan topik dan pertanyaan penelitian yang akan dijawab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tren penelitian PPP di sektor pendidikan mengalami peningkatan dari segi jumlah publikasinya dan berasal dari jangkauan yang cukup luas dari asal negara penulis yang berkontribusi. Kemudian, dari pemetaan kata kunci menunjukkan bahwa fokus penelitian pada implementasi PPP di sektor pendidikan cukup bervariatif dari mengulas pada tahap input, tujuan, proses, hingga output dan outcome dalam implementasi PPP. Selain itu, hasil penelitian yang utama ialah pembahasan ragam program pendidikan dengan skema PPP yang telah dilakukan di berbagai negara, dan menunjukkan faktor yang berpengaruh pada keberhasilan program. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan PPP pada sektor pendidikan ini meliputi: komitmen dan kerjasama yang kuat, akuntabilitas, regulasi dan standar operasional yang jelas, perencanaan dan desain yang matang, analisa perbandingan menyeluruh, dukungan publik, pembentukan unit ppp yang kredibel.

This study discusses the implementation of public-private partnership (PPP) in the education area, which is different from the research that has been done previously. While previous studies reviewed various PPP from various perspectives, this study reviews trends and mapping of the literature from 1999- 2021. Research developments are also presented in visual data so that they can produce trends and literature maps discussed in PPP practice in the education sector. Using the concept of PPPs in the education sector, this study reviews the goals and priorities of projects, as well as the factors that influence the success of PPPs in the education sector. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and Content Analysis. Systematic Literature Review is used in mapping research topics. The stages are carried out starting from collecting publications from Scopus, the findings then going through a screening process to data extraction. The mapping is also compiled with the Vos Viewer tool which can show the clustering of research. Content analysis is an advanced method for analyzing the substance of the findings. This stage is carried out by reading in full and noting important points in research articles that are following the topic and research questions to be answered. The results show that PPP research trends in the education sector have increased in terms of number of publications and come from a fairly wide range of countries where contributing authors are based. Then, the keyword mapping shows that the focus of research on PPP implementation in the education sector is quite varied from reviewing the input, objectives, processes, to outputs and outcomes in PPP implementation. Additionally, the primary research outcome is a discussion of various educational programs with PPP schemes that have been implemented in various countries and demonstrate the factors that contribute to the program's success. Several factors contribute to the success of PPP in the education sector include strong commitment and cooperation, accountability, clear regulation and SOP, well-planning and design, exhaustive comparative analysi, public suppor, Establishment of a credible PPP Unit.
