ANALISIS SPASIAL NAMA GEOGRAFI DI KABUPATEN BOYOLALI DAN VISUALISASI STORY MAPS

Nama geografi suatu wilayah administrasi pada peta memiliki makna tertentu yang dipengaruhi oleh hubungan antara manusia, bentanglahan, budaya lokal, sejarah, lingkungan dan politik di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) inventarisasi nama geografi Kabupaten Boyolali berdasarkan Peta AMS dan peta RBI, (2) melakukan analisis spasial nama geografi terhadap aspek topografi di Kabupaten Boyolali, dan (3) membuat Story Maps Kabupaten Boyolali. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kabupaten Boyolali yang terdiri atas 22 Kecamatan dan 267 Desa. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana dengan uji statistik chi kuadrat, serta dilakukan tahap survei lapangan dan studi pustaka. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Pemetaan perubahan status nama geografi unsur administrasi Kabupaten Boyolali tahun 1944 dan tahun 2000 terdapat 3 jenis perubahan nama unsur administrasi desa, unsur administrasi yang mengalami jenis perubahan bahasa yaitu 3 desa, unsur administrasi yang mengalami jenis perubahan ejaan yaitu 126 desa, unsur administrasi yang mengalami jenis perubahan nama yaitu 30 desa dan 108 desa lainnya tidak mengalami perubahan. (2) Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa belum cukup bukti yang bisa menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan antara aspek topografi dengan aspek toponimi untuk nama administrasi di Kabupaten Boyolali. (3) Hasil dari visualisasi story maps penelitian toponimi Kabupaten Boyolali melalui survei dan diseminasi ditanggapi oleh 33 responden yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa tampilan story maps menarik, isi konten story maps bersifat cukup informatif dan tingkat pemahamannya mudah untuk dimengerti.

The geographical name of an administrative region on a map has a certain meaning that is influenced by the connection between humans, landsacapes, local culture, history, environtment and politics in the region. This research aims to(1) an inventory of the geographical names of Boyolali Regency based on American Maps Service and Topography Maps Indonesia (2) spatial analyze of geographic names on topographical aspects in the Boyolali Regency (3) make a visualization result of the research by Story Maps Boyolali Regency. The research location is in Boyolali Regency which consists of 22 sub-districts and 267 villages. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative and a simple analyst regression method with chi square test, as well as a field survey and literature study. The conclusion of this research is (1) Mapping the change in the status of the geographical name of the administrative element of Boyolali Regency in 1944 and 2000, there are 3 types of change in the name of the village administration element, administrative elements that experienced a type of language change, namely 3 villages, administrative elements that experienced a type of spelling change, namely 126 villages, administrative elements that experienced a type of name change, namely 30 villages and the other 108 villages did not experience changes. (2) Based on the statistical tests that have been carried out, it can be ascertained that there is not enough evidence to show a connection between topographical aspects and toponymous aspects for administrative names in Boyolali Regency. (3) The results of the visualization of the story map of Boyolali Regency toponymy research through surveys and dissemination were responded to by 33 respondents who can be said that the display of the story map is interesting, the content of the story map is quite informative and the level of understanding is relatively easy.
