Pengajuan cuti merupakan hak yang dapat diperoleh karyawan dalam setiap instansi, begitu juga untuk karyawan Koperasi Mahasiswa Universitas Gadjah Mada. Proses pengajuan cuti karyawan pada KOPMA UGM menggunakan sistem informasi cuti yang dinilai kurang optimal fiturnya. Aplikasi pengajuan cuti yang saat ini digunakan belum memenuhi kebutuhan organisasi seperti kuota jumlah cuti, kategori cuti, pengajuan izin, dan rekap data pengajuan. Pengajuan cuti dan izin karyawan harus mendapat persetujuan dari manajer divisi sebelum disetujui oleh manajer sumber daya manusia. Permasalahan dalam proses pengajuan cuti karyawan diatas membuat dikembangkannya Sistem Informasi Cuti dan Izin Karyawan Koperasi Mahasiswa Universitas Gadjah Mada Berbasis Web yang berguna untuk menggantikan aplikasi pengajuan cuti karyawan Kopma UGM yang saat ini sedang digunakan. Sistem ini juga mampu memberikan reabilitas dan kompleksitas fitur yang lebih baik serta memenuhi kebutuhan organisasi. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan framework Laravel, basis data MySQL, Sistem ini dapat diakses menggunakan web browser.

Application for leave is a right that can be obtained by employees in every agency, as well as for employees of the Universitas Gadjah Mada Student Cooperative. The process of applying for employee leave at KOPMA UGM uses a leave information system which is considered to have less than optimal features. The leave application currently being used does not meet the organization's needs such as quota for leave, leave categories, application for clearance, and recap of application data. Applications for leave and clearance from employee must be approved by the division manager before being approved by the human resources manager. The problems in the process of applying for employee leave above led to the development of a Web-Based Information System for Leave and Clearance Employee for the Universitas Gadjah Mada Student Cooperative which is useful to replace the application for submitting leave for Kopma UGM employees which is currently being used. This system is also able to provide greater reliability and complexity of features and meet the needs of the organization. This system is built using the Laravel framework, MySQL database, this system can be accessed using a web browser
