Pengembangan UI/UX pada Portal Geologi Litosite Berbasis Progressive Web Apps

Wilayah DIY dan Jawa Tengah merupakan daerah dengan keragaman struktur geologi yang tinggi. Teknik Geologi FT UGM berperan aktif dalam melakukan penelitian di daerah ini. Namun, dalam pencatatan hasil penelitian lapangan peneliti masih harus menyalin data yang sebelumnya dicatat di buku ke media digital (spreadsheet) seperti Excel. Data tersebut pun masih tersebar di masing-masing peneliti tanpa ada sebuah basis data terpusat. Hal ini dapat ditanggulangi dengan mengadakan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu membantu peneliti melakukan pencatatan hasil studi lapangan langsung di sistem maupun melakukan unggah spreadsheet. Selain itu proyek ini juga menambahkan fitur-fitur lain seperti peta geologi dan unggah data hasil penelitian laboratorium paleontologi dan petrografi.

The region of DIY and Central Java has high variety of geological structure. Geological Engineering FT UGM plays an active role in research in this region. However, the researcher is still complexed with recording the result of the field studies. They have to write it in a book first, then move it in to a spreadsheet and lastly upload it into a database. This data is spread between each of the researcher. This project creates a web-based information system that can hold geological data collectively and allow the researcher to directly input the result of field studies in the web. Other than that this project will also add another features such as, geological map and a place to upload the result of palentology and petrography analysis.
