One way to obtain geometric information of 2D objects in aerial photos is by digitizing orthophotos resulting from the orthorectification process. However, there is a problem that the object to be digitized is blocked by other objects, such as a corner of a building covered by a tree canopy. This problem raises the difficulty of determining the position of objects clearly in orthophoto. One of the techniques that can be used as a solution to this problem is digitizing objects based on epipolar lines on aerial photos taken with UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). The aims of this study were (1) to examine the accuracy of digitizing objects based on epipolar line on UAV aerial photos (2) to determine the significance of accuracy differences in the result of digitizing objects based on epipolar line in aerial photos of UAV and result of digitizing objects on rectified orthophoto. This study uses 153 aerial photos taken by UAV with 7 ground control points. The research location is in the Grha Sabha Pramana area, Gadjah Mada University, D.I.Y Province. The research stages include preparation, digitizing objects on UAV aerial photos and on orthophotos, as well as analysis. The interactive digitizing objects was carried out on a sample of buildings and open land. Digitizing objects on UAV aerial photos using SfM software based on epipolar lines, while digitizing objects on orthophotos using GIS software manually. Data analysis was carried out using a horizontal geometric accuracy test which refers to the BIG regulation No. 6 of 2018. The planimetric accuracy analysis refers to the PMNA/Head of BPN regulation number 03 of 1997. The statistical test uses the F (Fisher) significance test with a 95% degree of confidence in the research hypothesis. The results of the horizontal geometric accuracy test (CE90) on the results of digitizing objects based on epipolar lines on aerial photos from UAV of 0.25 m can meet the accuracy on a map scale of 1:1000 first class. Distance accuracy produces a distance RMS value of 0.031 m which is smaller than the standard tolerance of 0.3 m based on distance samples on the results of digitizing objects based on epipolar lines on aerial photos from UAV so that it meets the accuracy for the first class 1: 1000 scale registration base map. The accuracy of the area planimetric on all sample objects shows that all area values meet the tolerance based on the comparison of tolerances to the difference in the value of the area of each object and the area of the field test results. The results of statistical tests on the research hypothesis using the F (Fisher) significance test showed that there was no significant difference in accuracy between the results of digitizing objects based on epipolar lines on aerial photos from UAV and the result from digitizing objects on orthophotos. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the digitizing objects based on epipolar lines on UAV aerial photos could be an effective solution in the reconstruction of the boundary point of obstructed objects and could provide high and significant accuracy for digitizing results on orthophoto.
