ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI KASIR MOKA POS DALAM SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN KAS PADA APSARA COFFEE

Apsara Coffee adalah sebuah coffee shop / café / mini space yang berdiri sejak tanggal 1 Oktober 2020. Pada awalnya Apsara Coffee mencatat sistem penerimaan kas dengan menggunakan metode manual, adapun saat ini dijalankan dengan menggunakan sistem aplikasi kasir yaitu Moka POS. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana sistem penerimaan kas pada Apsara Coffee dan untuk mengetahui penggunaan sistem aplikasi tersebut dalam sistem informasi penerimaan kas yang dijalankan Apsara Coffee sudah sesuai dengan komponen kerangka prinsip kerja PIECES. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data ini menggunakan metode PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service). Dari analisis dan evaluasi menggunakan metode PIECES, didapatkan hasil bahwa sistem informasi penerimaan kas yang dijalankan Apsara Coffee belum sesuai dengan enam komponen kerangka kerja prinsip PIECES.

Apsara Coffee is a coffee shop / café / mini space starting to operate since October 1, 2020. Therefore, Apsara Coffee tracked the cash receipts manually. However, now, the cash receipt system is run using the help of a cashier application named Moka POS. Thus, this research aims to observe the cash receipt system in Apsara Coffee and to reveal whether the use of Moka POS cashier application as a part of the cash receipt system in Apsara Coffee is aligned with the PIECES framework. This research considered a case study, with data collection from interviews, observation, and documentation. The data are analyzed using PIECES technique (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service). The results show that the cash receipt system in Apsara Coffee is run by the help of Moka POS cashier application. All of the cash receipt transactions were input and processed using the application. The output from the cash receipt transaction is an SMS or email sent to the customer through the contact saved in the application. The analysis and evaluation using PIECES technique lead to the result that the cash receipt system run in Apsara Coffee is not yet aligned with the six components in PIECES framework.
