Rekondisi Sepeda Motor Viar JT Z 2008

Sepeda motor merupakan moda transportasi yang paling banyak digunakan di Indonesia. Salah satu faktor tingginya penggunaan sepeda motor karena Indonesia memiliki wilayah yang luas serta kebutuhan mobilitas yang tinggi. Pemilihan sepeda motor sebagai moda transportasi dinilai lebih efektif dan efisien untuk digunakan di dalam kota, seperti untuk membelah kemacetan, dan menyusuri gang sempit. Proses pemeliharaan sepeda motor dapat disebut sebagai servis berkala, atau tune up. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengembalikan performance, dan mencegah terjadinya kerusakan yang serius pada sepeda motor. Sepeda motor operasional milik Rumah ZIS UGM telah mengalami kerusakan dan perlu dilakukan rekondisi. Pada studi ini berisi tentang rekondisi sepeda motor Viar JT Z 2008. Dalam proses penelitian ini dilakukan metode berupa praktek langsung dan observasi lapangan yaitu rekondisi komponen sepeda motor yang mengalami kerusakan dan menyebabkan tidak berfungsinya sepeda motor secara total. Kemudian sepeda motor dilakukan pengujian berupa inspeksi fungsi komponen dan pengujian kinerja daya dan torsi menggunakan mesin dyno test. Komponen yang harus diperbaiki adalah busi, piston, kepala silinder, kabel throttle gas, sil master rem depan, rantai penggerak, dan jarum indikator bensin. Sedangkan komponen yang harus diganti adalah gasket top set, sil klep, sil manifold, gasket knalpot, lampu utama, lampu sein, lampu rem, lampu speedometer, minyak rem, kampas rem depan, bodi dek tengah, bodi panel depan, dan stiker bodi motor. Setelah dilakukan pengujian inspeksi fungsi komponen, seluruh komponen dapat berkerja dengan baik. Sedangkan pengujian kinerja menggunakan mesin dyno test dihasilkan data berupa daya 5,5 HP pada 6177 RPM, dan torsi 7,20 Nm pada 4969 RPM.

Motorcycles are the most widely used mode of transportation in Indonesia. One of the factors of the high use of motorcycles because Indonesia has a large area and high mobility needs. The selection of motorcycles as a mode of transportation is considered more effective and efficient to be used in the city, such as to divide congestion, and down narrow alleys. The motorcycle maintenance process can be referred to as periodic servicing, or tune up. This is done to restore performance,and prevent serious damage to the motorcycle. Theoperational moto r bikeowned by RUMAH ZIS UGM has been damaged and needs to be reconditioned. This study is about the reconditioning of the 2008 Viar JT Z motorcycle. In this research process, methods in the form of direct practice and field observation are reconditioning motorcycle components that are damaged and cause total motorcycle malfunction. Then the motorcycle conducted testing in the form of inspection of component functions and testing of power and torque performance using a dyno test engine. Components that must be repaired are spark plugs, pistons, silinder heads, gas throttle cables, front brake master sil, drive chains, and gasoline indicator needles. While the components that must be replaced are the top set gasket, valve sil, sil manifold, exhaust gasket, headlights, sein lights, brake lights, speedometer lights, brake fluid, front brake campas, center deck body, front panel body, and motor body sticker. After testing the inspection of component functions, all components can work well. While performance testing using the dyno test engine generated data inthe form of daya 5.5 HP at 6177 RPM,and torsi7.20 Nm at 4969 RPM.
