Code River is one of the rivers in Province Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. It should be noted that the people of Yogyakarta depend a lot on this river, especially the people who live on the banks of the river. However, it has become common news when this river disastrous, especially landslides which often occur in the rainy season. However, disaster management is never got maximal result from a lack of information in the form of a map and a description of the cause of a history in every area of the landslide. In this applicable activities, topographical mapping of the Code River cliff area where landslides occurred along with identification of the factors causing landslides was carried out based on the slope, rainfall, geology, distance to the river, and the extent of the landslide area. Landslide areas identified were cliff cuts with a slope of >15% (fifteen percent). Then carried out the acquisition of detailed topographic data using GNSS receiver and Reflectorless Total Station (TS) with the results in the form of a topographic map. The factors used for identification are the slope, rainfall, geology, distance to the river, and the area of the landslide area. The first classification is carried out by categorizing one river corridor whose area has been determined along with the four factors used into 3 (three) classes, namely low, medium and high disaster impacts from slope data, rainfall, geology, and distance to the river. Then the second classification uses data on the area of the landslide area by dividing it into 6 (six) classes according to the classification table for the area of the avalanche (Cornforth, 2005). The results of the activity are divided into two, namely a map of the distribution area of the landslide location along with a topographic map from 14 (fourteen) post-landslide cliffs and classification related to landslides. The classification of the impact of landslides resulted in 70% (seventy percent) of the impact of a medium disaster and the rest being the impact of a high disaster. The results were also tested for maps which in total there were 9 high impacted cliffs and the rest were moderately affected. Landslide classification according to the area of the landslide to get a very small classification. The level of impact of landslides in the administrative border area between Sleman Regency and Yogyakarta City tends to be safer because the area is still natural and far from residential areas. While the classification of landslides on the Code River is in the very small category because landslides tend to be seasonal and some cliffs have used embankments as an anticipation of landslides.
