EVALUASI USABILITY PADA APLIKASI MY LEARNING JOURNAL DALAM KEGIATAN REFLECTIVE JOURNALING

Latar Belakang: My Learning Journal merupakan aplikasi berbasis web dan Android yang dikembangkan di PSIK FK-KMK UGM untuk membantu mahasiswa melakukan refleksi terhadap proses pembelajaran yang mereka jalani dalam tahap akademik. Salah satu faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan agar implementasi teknologi baru dapat optimal adalah usability dari sistem/teknologi tersebut. Tujuan Penelitian: mengevaluasi usability aplikasi My Learning Journal oleh mahasiswa dan fasilitator berdasarkan karakteristik pengguna dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan reflective journaling. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Rangkaian penelitian dilaksanakan secara online dengan proses pengambilan data menggunakan media Jotform pada bulan Februari 2021. Kuesioner yang digunakan adalah Post Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) untuk mengukur 66 responden mahasiswa dan 10 responden fasilitator. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis univariat berupa analisis deskriptif. Hasil: Hasil usability aplikasi My Learning Journal untuk kategori System Quality memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,99 yang berarti memuaskan, nilai Information Quality memiliki rata-rata sebesar 3,83 yang berarti memuaskan, nilai Interface Quality dengan rata-rata 3,75 yang berarti memuaskan, serta The Overall of Satisfaction Score sebesar 3,88 yang berarti secara keseluruhan aplikasi memuaskan. Kesimpulan: Aplikasi My Learning Journal memuaskan bagi pengguna aplikasi. Domain dengan nilai rata-rata tertinggi yaitu System Quality sedangkan nilai rata-rata terendah yaitu interface Quality.

Background: My Learning Journal is a web and Android-based application that School of Nursing UGM develops to help students recall the learning process they have taken during academic stage. One of the important factors that should get observed in order that the implementation of the new technology become optional is the usability of the system/technology itself. Objective: To evaluate the usability of My Learning Journal by student and facilitator based on user characteristics on conducting reflective journaling activity. Methods: A descriptive-qualitative research with cross-sectional design. Research inquiries is held online by data-collecting through platform Jotform in February 2021. The applied questionnaire uses Post Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) that is utilized to assess correspondents of 66 students and 10 facilitators. An univariate data analysis were performed to describe the frequency distribution of respondents. Results: The usability result of My Learning Journal application for system quality category has mean score of 3.99, which means it is satisfying, the mean score of information quality is 3.83, which is satisfying, the mean score of interface quality is 3.75 that shows it is satisfying, and the overall of satisfaction score of 3.88, which means the application as a whole is satisfying. Conclusion: My Learning Journal application is satisfying for the users. The domain with the highest mean score is system quality, while the lowest mean score is interface quality.
