KONSTRUKSI ALAT UKUR PERSEPSI KEPEMIMPINAN TNI ANGKATAN UDARA (IMPI-K30)

TNI sebagai institusi militer Indonesia memiliki konsep yang sama dengan militer negara lain dalam sistem kepemimpinan. Hubungan antara pemimpin dengan bawahan bersifat komando dan perintah dari komandan mutlak dilaksanakan. Persepsi kepemimpinan oleh prajurit berperan penting dalam mempengaruhi perilaku kepemimpinan dan efektivitas kepemimpinan TNI. Sedikitnya penelitian pembuatan dan pengembangan alat ukur khusus bidang militer, menjadikan penelitian ini penting dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengonstruksi alat ukur persepsi kepemimpinan TNI Angkatan Udara yang memiliki properti psikometrik yang baik. Alat ukur yang berjumlah 30 aitem diberi nama 'Indonesian Military Personality Inventory-Kepemimpinan 30 aitem' (IMPI-K30). Reliabilitas alat ukur ini diestimasi dengan rumus Spearman-Brown. Pengujian validitas dilakukan dengan validitas konten dan validitas kriteria. Sejumlah 394 prajurit TNI Angkatan Udara berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil konstruksi alat ukur ini adalah aitem-aitem yang memiliki daya diskriminasi aitem dapat diterima (rix > 0.3), hasil estimasi reliabilitas yang baik (rxx' = 0.958), serta menghasilkan validitas yang diharapkan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, IMPI-K30 memiliki properti psikometrik yang baik dan Interpretasi skor IMPI-K30 digunakan untuk mengukur persepsi prajurit terhadap kepemimpinan TNI.

The Indonesian National Army's leadership system is similar to the military leadership system in other countries. It highlights the importance of the strong relationship between the commanders and their subordinates. It is well known that the orders from the commanders should be carried out by the subordinates thoroughly. The perception toward leadership by subordinates plays an important role in influencing leadership behaviors and conceptions of leadership effectiveness. This study is important as only a few instruments for the military sector have been constructed or developed. This study aimed to construct a good psychometric instrument that can measure the perceived leadership system in the Indonesian Air Force, called 'Indonesian Military Personality Inventory-Kepemimpinan 30' (IMPI-K30). Spearman-Brown formula is used to evaluating reliability. The validity was verified by using content validity and criterion validity. 394 Indonesian Air Force personnel had participated in this study. The results are this instrument has a satisfactory item-discrimination index (rix > 0.3), good reliability coefficient (rxx' = 0.958), the content validity and criterion validity showed the expected results. According to these results, IMPI-K30 has good psychometric properties and the Interpretation of the IMPI-K30 score is used to measure personnel's perception toward leadership.
