Airfield Lighting System (AFL) di Bandar Udara merupakan alat yang sangat penting keberadaannya terutama bagi seorang penerbang pesawat (PILOT) untuk menerbangkan atau memendaratkan pesawat, Airfield Lighting System (AFL) sendiri digunakan sebagai rambu rambu lalulintas pesawat pada landasan (runway) agar sorang penerbang dapat mengetahui garis batas landasan dan lalu lintas pada landasan, pengoperasian AFL dibandara Adi Sutjipto dilakukan saat bandara beroperasi pada malam atau siang hari sesuai dengan kebutuhan atau request dari pilot, Dalam pengoperasian AFL dilakukan secara remote dari Tower atau lokal dari gedung CCR dimana alat pendukung AFL dipasang. Operasional Bandara Adi Sutjipto digunakan terus menerus untuk penerbangan sipil dan militer maka dari itu pengoprasian AFL juga terus menerus menyebabkan permasalahan, ketika AFL bermasalah maka akan menunggu laporan dari tower kemudian teknisi akan segera menuju ke gedung Constant Current Regulator (CCR) untuk mereset Constant Current Regulator (CCR) sehingga AFL beroperasi secara normal kembali. Dengan Monitoring Airfield Lighting System (AFL) penanganan masalah pada peralatan AFL akan lebih cepat tanpa menunggu laporan dari tower sehingga keamanan penerbangan dan pendaratan pesawat akan selalu terjaga begitu juga kerugian dalam biaya operasional akan berkurang.

The Airfield Lighting System (AFL) at the airport is a very important tool, especially for a plane pilot (PILOT) to fly or land an aircraft. can find out the runway boundary line and traffic on the runway, the operation of AFL at Adi Sutjipto airport is carried out when the airport operates at night or during the day according to the needs or requests of the pilot, In operation AFL is carried out remotely from the Tower or locally from the CCR building where AFL support equipment installed. Adi Sutjipto Airport operations are used continuously for civil and military flights, therefore the operation of the AFL also continues to cause problems, when the AFL has a problem, it will wait for a report from the tower then the technician will immediately go to the Constant Current Regulator (CCR) building to reset the Constant Current Regulator (CCR) so that the AFL operates normally again. With the Monitoring Airfield Lighting System (AFL) the handling of problems with AFL equipment will be faster without waiting for reports from the tower so that flight security and aircraft landings will always be maintained as well as losses in operational costs will be reduced.
