Pembuatan Peta Skematik Jalur Trans Jogja dan Story Map Trans Jogja

Minat penggunaan angkutan umum di Yogyakarta khususnya Trans Jogja terus menurun dari tahun ke tahun. Kepala UPT Trans Jogja Dinas Perhubungan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Sumariyoto, mengatakan penurunan disebabkan karena banyak masyarakat Yogyakarta yang beralih ke kendaraan pribadi atau ojek online. Aspek sarana dan prasarana serta informasi yang kurang mendukung dapat menyebabkan masyarakat cenderung memilih menggunakan kendaraan pribadi dibanding angkutan umum. Ketersediaan informasi yang lengkap mengenai peta jalur dan lokasi halte menjadi faktor penting yang dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan masyarakat Yogyakarta dalam menggunakan Trans Jogja. Kegiatan aplikatif ini dibuat untuk menyediakan informasi mengenai peta jalur bus Trans Jogja, peta area cakupan pelayanan di sekitar halte, dan visualisasi jumlah perjalanan bus yang mudah diakses dan dipahami bagi masyarakat umum melalui tampilan story map dan website. Pembuatan peta jalur bus dilakukan dengan proses skematisasi yaitu proses penyederhanaan jalur dari bentuk aslinya ke dalam bentuk garis lurus. Proses ini dilakukan dengan digitasi secara manual menggunakan Google Earth. Data yang digunakan sebagai acuan adalah peta rute Trans Jogja milik Dinas Perhubungan Yogyakarta. Selanjutnya dibuat peta area cakupan pelayanan di sekitar halte dengan menggunakan buffer sejauh 300 meter dari halte dan TPB (Tempat Pemberhentian Bus) Trans Jogja. Perhitungan jumlah perjalanan bus Trans Jogja dilakukan dengan menggunakan data jumlah armada bus dan estimasi waktu tempuh bus. Hasil perhitungan merupakan jumlah total bus dari semua jalur yang melewati suatu ruas jalan. Seluruh peta yang telah dibuat selanjutnya ditampilkan dalam bentuk story map yang dibuat menggunakan ArcGIS Storymaps. Story map dibuat dengan memasukkan peta yang telah dibuat dan memasukkan narasi sesuai dengan konsep story map yang telah dibuat. Kegiatan aplikatif ini menghasilkan sebuah website yang diberi judul TRANS JOGJA. Website tersusun atas dua bagian yaitu halaman cover dan halaman isi. Pada halaman cover menampilkan judul dari website dan deskripsi singkat mengenai website. Halaman isi merupakan inti dari website yang berisi beberapa halaman yaitu halaman pengenalan yang menampilkan deskripsi mengenai Trans Jogja, halaman peta jalur yang berisi tombol untuk mengarahkan pengguna ke story map peta skematik jalur bus serta halaman story map yang menampilkan tombol untuk mengarahkan pengguna ke story map peta area cakupan pelayanan di sekitar halte dan peta visualisasi jumlah perjalanan bus Trans Jogja. Berdasarkan hasil formulir kuisioner tanggapan pengguna, website Trans Jogja mudah untuk dioperasikan dan mampu menyajikan informasi mengenai Trans Jogja secara baik dan tepat dibuktikan dengan jawaban sangat setuju sebesar 44,4% dan jawaban setuju sebesar 55,6%.
Trans Jogja is one of the mass transportation that established by the local government of Yogyakarta. However, according to Head of UPT Department of Transportation Yogyakarta Sumariyoto, the interest in using public transportation in Yogyakarta has decreased from year to year along with many people who switch to private vehicles or online taxi services. The lack of support in facilities and infrastructure as well as information to access about the transportation also causes people to choose private vehicles over public transportation. The availability of information about bus stops and route maps is an important factor that can increase the interest of people in using Trans Jogja. This applied research was created to provide information about the route map of Trans Jogja, a map of the service area around the bus stop, and visualization of bus trips that are easily accessible and understandable for the general public displayed via story maps and websites. The development of bus route map is conducted by a schematization process, which is simplifying the path from its original geometry or existing map into a straight line. This process is done by digitizing manually using Google Earth imagery. Route map of the Trans Jogja from to the Yogyakarta’s Department of Transportation is used as a reference for making the schematic map. The map of service area around the bus stop is made using buffer analysis as far as 300 meters from the bus stop. This map displays various public facilities and tourist attractions around the bus stops. The number of Trans Jogja bus trips is calculated using data the number of bus fleet and estimated bus travel time. Result of the calculation is the total number of buses from all routes that pass through a road and then the calculation results are visualized on a map. All maps that have been created are then displayed in the form of story maps created using ArcGIS Storymaps. The story map is made by entering the map that has been made and entering the narration according to the concept of the story map that has been created This applied research produced a website named TRANS JOGJA. The website is composed of a cover page and a content page. The cover page displays the title of the website and a brief description about the website. The content page is the core of the website which contains several pages, first is the Introduction page that displays a description of Trans Jogja, then the Route Map page that contains buttons to direct users to a story map of a bus route schematic map, and lastly the Story Map page that displays buttons to direct users to a story map of service area around bus stops and a visualization map of Trans Jogja bus trips. The website is evaluated by the user using an online form. Based on the evaluation results from users, the Trans Jogja website is easy to operate and able to present information about Trans Jogja properly and accurately, as evidenced by the 44.4% strongly agree and 55.6% agree answers.
