Sebagai organisasi bisnis, perkembangan UMKM haruslah didukung dengan peningkatan kualitas pencatatan keuangan. Selama ini pencatatan keuangan salah satu UMKM yaitu UD Dwi 888 masih dilakukan secara manual dengan perhitungan biaya produksi yang belum sesuai. Hal tersebut menyebabkan informasi dan laporan keuangan yang dihasilkan tidak tepat. Ketidaktepatan informasi dapat menyebabkan kesalahan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan sistem pencatatan yang dapat digunakan untuk menyimpan data dan informasi secara aman serta melakukan perhitungan dan penyusunan laporan secara tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun sistem pencatatan biaya produksi dan penjualan menggunakan Visual Basic for Application (VBA)-Macro Excel. Penyusuan sistem yang menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitiatif ini didasarkan pada kegiatan dan kebutuhan UD Dwi 888 yang diketahui melalui wawancara dengan pemilik. Keluaran utama yang didapatkan dari sistem ini adalah laporan harga pokok produksi, laporan penjualan, dan laporan laba rugi. Ketiga laporan tersebut disusun untuk membantu UD Dwi 888 dalam hal pengendalian biaya, penentuan harga, penentuan laba, dan pengambilan keputusan serta pemenuhan kewajiban perpajakan.

As a business organization, the development of MSMEs must be supported by improving the quality of financial records. So far, the financial recording of one of the MSMEs, namely UD Dwi 888 is still done manually with inadequate calculation of production costs. The inadequate calculation cause the information and financial statement to be prepared incorrectly. Inaccuracy of information can cause errors in decision making. So, UD Dwi 888 need a recording system that can be used to store data and information safely. Beside it, the system must can be used to perform calculation and compile reports correctly. This study aims to design production cost and sales recording system use Visual Basic for Application (VBA)-Macro Excel. This system design used the qualitative descriptive analysis based on the activities and needs of UD Dwi 888 which were identified from the interviews result with the owner. The main output of this system is the cost of goods manufactured report, sales report, and income statement. These reports prepares to help UD Dwi 888 to controlling costs, determining prices, determining profits, making decisions, and also fulfilling the tax obligations.
