PROBLEM AKSIOLOGI ILMU DALAM PERSPEKTIF PEMIKIRAN PROFETIK KUNTOWIJOYO

Penelitian ini berjudul Problem Aksiologi Ilmu dalam Perspektif Pemikiran Profetik Kuntowijoyo. Perkembangan ilmu modern dengan ragam kemajuan yang dijanjikan telah mampu membawa manusia dan peradaban hari ini ke fase yang berbeda. Revolusi industri di Eropa menjadi penanda bahwasanya ilmu pengetahuan merupakan api cahaya yang diagung-agungkan sebagai penyelamat dan membawa kemaslahatan bagi manusia serta terbebas dari kegelapan dan malapetaka. Namun, perkembangan ilmu modern menyimpan setumpuk masalah bagi manusia dan kemanusiaan. Nilai-nilai luhur ditinggalkan, terjadi dehumanisasi dan eksploitasi besar-besaran dengan mengatasnamakan kemajuan ilmu. Melalui perspektif keilmuan profetik Kuntowijoyo, penelitian ini mencoba mengurai persoalan filsafat nilai yang terjadi pada pengembangan ilmu. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan problem aksiologi yang terjadi pada ilmu-ilmu modern ditelaah secara kritis melalui tiga semangat dasar profetik yang Kuntowijoyo kembangkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif di bidang filsafat ilmu melalui studi pustaka yang berfokus pada problem aksiologi. Langkah dari penelitian ini antara lain inventarisasi data, pengelolaan data, pembahasan dan analisis kritis. Hasil analisis diolah melalui uraian deskripsi, interpretasi, koherensi internal, holistika, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan problem aksiologi yang terjadi pada ilmu modern yang dianggap membawa manusia pada kemajuan ternyata memiliki banyak masalah kemanusiaan dan peradaban. Atas nama kemajuan dan ilmu modern, manusia semakin terbelenggu oleh sistem pengetahuan, terjebak pada dehumanisasi, eksploitasi sumber daya baik alam maupun manusia, serta lunturnya nilai-nilai luhur dan keilahian dalam kehidupan masyarakat modern yang sangat kering. Peneliti menggunakan perspektif Kuntowijoyo untuk mengkritisi problem aksiologi ini dengan kacamata keilmuan profetik melalui tiga spiritnya yakni liberasi, humanisasi, transendensi. Melalui tiga spirit profetik Kuntowijoyo, peneliti ingin mengurai benang kusut problem aksiologi dengan membebaskan manusia dari belenggu sistem pengetahuan yang dogmatis dan eksploitatif melalui tahap liberasi dan humanisasi ilmu. Pada puncaknya, transendensi ilmu meletakkan ilmu pengetahuan sebagai manifestasi nilai kebenaran sejati yang membawa ilmu pengetahuan sebagai maslahat bagi manusia dan kemanusiaan. This research is entitled Problem of Axiology of Science in the Perspective of Kuntowijoyo's Prophetic Thought. The development of contemporary science with its promised variety of advancement has already brought humanity and civilization today to a different phase. Europe's Industrial Revolution marked that science was a "glorified torch" as the savior and brought benefit to mankind whilst freed them from the darkness and havoc. But, the development of contemporary science stores several problems for humanity and civilization. The noble value was abandoned, dehumanization happened and massive exploitation in the name of scientific development. With Kuntowijoyo's Perspective of Prophetic Thought, this research tries to break down upon philosophical issues that happened to the scientific development. This research describes the "Axiological" problem that happened to contemporary science and its derivatives deciphered critically through three main prophetic spirits that Kuntowijoyo developed. The method that is being used in this research is qualitative research in the field of philosophy of science through literature study that focuses on axiological problem. Steps to this research are data inventory, data processing, deliberation, and critical analysis. The result of this analysis is processed through the breaking down of description, interpretation, internal coherence, holistic, and reflection. The result of this research has proven that axiological problem that happened in the contemporary science that was thought to bring humanity to advancement apparently has several humanity and civilization issues. Using the name of advancement and contemporary science, mankind is actually being shackled of the system of science, trapped upon dehumanization, exploitation of both natural and human resources, also the gradual decline of noble and Godly values in contemporary civil society that is very dry. The researcher uses Kuntowijoyo's perspective to criticize the axiology problem of this science with a prophetic scientific perspective through its three spirits, that are liberation, humanization, and transcendence. Through Kuntowijoyo's three prophetic spirits, the researcher wants to untangle the tangled problems of science axiology by freeing humans from the shackles of dogmatic and exploitative knowledge systems through the stages of liberation and humanization of science. In the pinnacle, the transcendency of science puts science as the manifestation of true value that brings science as "virtue" to humanity and civilization. Rahmatan lil 'alamin.
