PROSES BELAJAR SOSIAL DALAM BRAND COMMUNITY (Studi Kasus Proses Belajar Sosial di Brand Community Komunitas Investor Saham Pemula Yogyakarta dalam Edukasi Saham kepada Anggota Komunitas)

Tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dalam investasi pasar modal yang rendah di Indonesia menempatkan negara ini sebagai negara dengan tingkat investasi saham paling rendah di Asia Tenggara. Menanggapi keprihatinan tersebut, Komunitas Investor Saham Pemula didirikan untuk memberikan edukasi investasi, khususnya saham kepada masyarakat. Dalam perannya mengedukasi masyarakat, komunitas ini harus terlebih dahulu mempersiapkan edukasi tenaga internalnya sehingga dapat memberikan edukasi yang mumpuni kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memahami motif dan proses belajar anggota internal Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta. Metode studi kasus pattern matching kualitatif yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini membandingkan pola belajar sosial yang didasarkan pada social exchange theory dan social learning theory dengan keadaan langsung di lapangan. Dengan pola yang cocok, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses belajar sosial di Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta berjalan dengan baik. Hasilnya didapatkan bahwa bentuk proses observasi belajar sosial yang terjadi di Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta adalah melalui live instructional model dalam bentuk edukasi verbal antar anggota. Adapun tahapan dorongan mental lebih mudah dilewati karena informan berada di lingkungan komunitas investor saham. Tahap attention terjadi saat informan terpapar janji capaian finansial masa depan dari berinvestasi saham. Selanjutnya retention, hal yang diingat informan adalah sifat dari investasi saham yang dinilai menguntungkan. Pada tahap motoric reproduction terdapat perbedaan kapabilitas finansial yang berbeda antar informan. Di tahap reinforcement, benefit yang melebihi cost dari berinvestasi saham membuat informan memutuskan untuk melanjutkan berinvestasi saham dan terus aktif di Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta. Pun terdapat anggota yang memutuskan untuk melanjutkan keanggotaannya dengan Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta dikarenakan anggota tersebut telah mendapatkan edukasi yang dibutuhkan dari bergabung dengan Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta.

The low level of public awareness of capital market investment in Indonesia places this country as the country with the lowest level of stock investment in Southeast Asia. Responding to these concerns, the Beginner Stock Investor Community was established to provide investment education, particularly stocks, to the public. In its role of educating the public, this community must first prepare education for its internal personnel so that it can provide qualified education to the community. This research is intended to understand the motives and learning processes of internal members of Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta. The qualitative pattern matching case study method is used in this research by comparing social learning patterns based on social exchange theory and social learning theory with conditions directly in the field. With a suitable pattern, it can be concluded that the social learning process in Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta is going well. The result shows that the form of social learning observation process that occurs in Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta is through a live instructional model in the form of verbal education between members. The mental boost stage is easier to pass because the informant is in the stock investor community. The attention stage occurs when the informant is exposed to the promise of future financial achievements from investing in stocks. Furthermore, retention, what the informants remembered was the nature of stock investment which was considered profitable. At the motoric reproduction stage, there are differences in financial capabilities that differ between informants. At the reinforcement stage, the benefits that exceeded the cost of investing in stocks made the informants decide to continue investing in stocks and continue to be active in Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta. There are also members who decide to continue their membership with Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta because these members have received the education needed from joining Komunitas ISP Yogyakarta.
